So where exactly were those personal details/customisation options available to you?
I can report this post. Hitting the 'Report' link brings up a pop-up much like the old-forum one.

I did not however follow through on the meta of reporting a ModStaff's own post to the ModStaff. There are certain Schroedinger's Cats that should not be petted.

And also thanks to whoever is following through on feedback for adding the light blue background to the "reply" dialog-box where you make your thread-response. Much easier for me to see what I am looking at. Though I miss the old layout of the pre-packaged buttons on the dialog.

[edit] And I can edit and apparently also report my own post, which is pretty much as the previous software worked.

Reporting one's own post is good and necessary on the modding forums especially for asking the mods to move a WIP thread into the sub-forums for completed game-mods, modding-tutorials, etc.

Way beyond you already. Have gone through two full cat shelters at least by now! :D

@LeeS :Can you...
- delete your own post?
- edit your signature?
Just to see if this is really a permission issue

For the reporting: If you want to do something for testing, then just state so, then you'll not get any problems ^^

Also I am not having trouble with any previously-created 'anchor' and 'set_anchor' commands still functioning.

I have not tried to add new ones.

However, links that under the old software were defaulting to causing the linked post or thread to appear as a new "tab" are now re-directing my browser rather opening that new tab. If I right-click the link and select "open as new tab" (or whatever exactly it is) this works as always but I get a security alert that the 'website' for the new tab does not have a security certificate.

Reply button, next to the like button as Pouakai mentioned. Also reply seems to work similarly to multi-quote as you can "reply" to multiple people by pressing the reply button for multiple posts.

No, I'm talking about splitting apart a very long post so that you can address specific points in it. Sometimes one post needs ten separate quote tags. This is now needlessly difficult.

I personally enjoy the like system. It lets me inform people I enjoyed their content without spamming the thread with a useless reply that contributes nothing.

They don't need the affirmation. It's just cheap positive stimuli, and it encourages people to voice opinions that they don't have to actually discuss or defend themselves. The quality of discussion on CFC will not be improved by it.

Testing whether my edited signature reflected the edit to my signature

I edited my signature to replace two non-functional emoji-thingies with ":"

I had to go to
Code:

for my account

What did you edit?
EDIT: So, it's working?

I told the mods you're cool, J. And told them to not bring the banhammer! :D

Thanks :D.

Some more bb tags are broken/absent

Weird...

But alright, I'm posting this from my phone!

It works perfectly. Nothing to complain about mobile-wise.

Think I will increase my posting rate while on the phone now.

I have to disagree... I am not liking using muy phone one bit. And since I am constantly using my phone whenever I'm aware from my computer, that is a big problem for me. This software may "look" better on mobile, but it doesn't function better.

I only ever used the free version of tapatalk, but I think this works way better...

Which mobile browser are you using?

I'm so jealous. All I ever dreamed of was getting 10 likes but I only have 5, and seeing others having 10 likes makes me so sad. :(

It seems to be impossible to go to, for example, the Civilization IV subforum, by clicking on 'CIVILIZATION IV' here:

What did you edit?
EDIT: So, it's working?

Thanks :D.
In case it wasn't clear I added a screenshot of where I was to make the changes to my signature.

I removed [civ5] in two places on the top line of my sig and replaced them with ":"

@ Forum Staff:

The way this new software works for adding links and the like really sucks, especially if you need to go back in and edit the link. The link gets translated into a hyperlink as a unit instead of remaining the text-code as was originally entered. Much less fun to edit and correct one little character error in the link because the actual text you entered is no longer available in "edit" view. It is just the hyperlink, which you have to entirely delete and start over.

I'm using the default browser on Android. But I don't like using mobile browsers period... Even chrome. It is too slow to load and very cumbersome to use as opposed to an app.

I understand that tapatalk may have some overhead, but it was really useful for me as a user and member. I have never encountered an issue with using it. Here, already, I have experienced lag, leading to misclicks.

I only used the free version of tapatalk myself. Never paid a dime for it. Never had a problem. I don't know. What kind of problems does tapatalk give for forum management, owners?

I honestly miss vBulleten to be honest. But at least were up.

Though I do miss the groups feature.

You can enable BB-code while editing posts:

Which I would honestly prefer over this WYSIWYG system. I dislike the aesthetics in general... Everything is so large and spaced out, I miss the compactness - and the skin in general - of VBulletin. But I suppose that is a small enough complaint.

Huh. Well, okay. It runs super-smooth and fast for me, in any case. Works much better than tapatalk ever did.

If you'd care to try again, I'm using Opera browser. Though I don't think it should be a big difference...
