Forum Upgraded! Post questions and problems here

That is driving me insane. Now I have to scroll for ages. Why was it removed. I am a member of a forum with multiquote. It rocks. BTW abbadon nice av.

Scroll down slightly and go to the forum jump, which has already been stated. It defaults to the forum you're in.

In previous upgrades, the bottom chains were lost, and TF restored them. I'm sure he'll restore them again, unless he has a good reason not too. However, give him a chance to get on and fix it, and let's not start a 'Bring Back the Bottom Chain' movement.

Hmmph we had that big debate about spam well I can tell you one thing without the links at the bottom I am much more likely to push that post quick reply button rather than telling myself that post doesn't make sense.

Heretic Cata, what voodoo stuff did you talk about??

The screenshot looks normal to me..

You must be joking (?)
The HUGE RED SQUARE on the right is the first hint. But it's not the main thing.
The line that has:
Thread/Thread Starter - Last Post - Replies - Views
is screwed up, none is where they are supposed to be. And the huge red square is where Views should be.

And i see it hasn't been solved till now btw. :p

I'm going to revert some templates and re-do the thread starter in its own column soon. It's hard to believe but this simple change requires a dozen template edits, because it affects many pages, like User CP, search results display, etc... :crazyeye:

It's ok, it's not that urgent. :)

And btw, are you constantly online ? Or just everytime i post smthing here.

Hey, i noticed another thingy. The quote above now had this tag:
What's that number over there ?

I have a quick question. If you copy and paste text from a post and put it in quote tags, does it show the arrow to take you to that post?

Hey, I just noticed something. There is no Imageshack link.

Yeah, and what is the image supposed to be when posting quick reply or editing post?

One more thing: I couldn't see the Multi-quote button on my own post until I edited it.

The number is the link to the post you quoted. ;)
Ah yes.
But it should be removed sometime in the future. What happens if i change it ?
(trying with your quote)
EDIT: oh well, nothing seems to be changed if i edit that number :crazyeye:

Is multi-quote supposed to work the way it does, by you clicking all of the posts' multi-quote buttons you want to quote but one, then clicking the last one's quote button? Because if I click all the multi-quote buttons and then "Go Advanced" they don't show up.

EDIT: And this time, I could see the multi-quote button as soon as it was posted. Maybe bacause it was quick reply?

You are correct; Press the Multi-quote buttons then press the quote button. There is no need to go to advanced if you do that.

Interesting. The post #'s can be edited, and send someone to a new post... I'm having fun with this!

I think so. You first click the multiquote buttons to select posts to quote, then click the quote button next to Edit.

I tested the feature on the official vBulletin site and the behavior is the same.

edit: Grr...didn't realize there are multiple pages. I responded to an old post...

Some cool new features - the only thing I don't like is the bar separating your post from your avatar/username/location. It looks weird.

Did something just change? Now it shows the last poster in a thread in a different inconvenient place.

Why did you have to use my name?

Was just a test to see if it would work with your name there.

Yes, it's bizarre... I'm not a fan of this:

Perhaps you can change this?

I suspect that this has something to do with the announcements at the top of the page?

Here is a screenshot of the User CP. It didn't look like that when I first logged in today.

I do kind of like it. Just so I have it straight, the name under the thread title is the thread starter, and the second column is the last poster, right?

EDIT: And now it's normal again! WTH???

I would suggest wait 5 minutes before reporting problems. :) Things are constantly changing.

ggganz: What screen resolution do you use? The screenshots you posted are so wide.
