Have you guys seen it yet, even though I'm conservative, I didn't find it to be that funny. It was good, but not hilarious. Still better than that Colbert crap though.
Other than the fact that I would describe you more than merely "conservative", (Where's your proof of god that you promised, by the way?) there's a difference. While I will admit that the Colbert Report is obviously politically slanted (In the sense that parodying the religious right is much of a political slant) the same cannot be said for the Daily Show. As well, both the Colbert Report and the Daily Show, comment on actual news, and don't focus on making fun of a particular political orientation as its
raison d'etre. Such the case is literally for this show, which is made to make fun of liberals. It's not even a satire, like the Colbert Report does; and the Colbert Report does it brilliantly and convincingly. This? You could easily tell that the people were lying; with the Colbert Report, Colbert can actually fool people that he is an idiot. Besides, the Daily Show and the Colbert Report offer commentary and parody on news - but the point of the shows are not necessarily to be mean spirited about an ideology.
Besides, such a show only provides more ammo for the fact that Fox News is politically biased to the right.
Rightists don't have a good sense of Humour
I don't think that's quite fair. Hollywood as a whole is politically to the left, so as a result some of the humor would be that which those of opposing viewpoints won't find to be funny. While making fun of liberals for the sake of being liberal is a common conservative form of humor, it's still stupid. One should make fun of
actual errors, not stereotypes of such - it's not considered funny on the left to make fun of the evangicals for the sake of them being evangical.
