Have you guys seen it yet, even though I'm conservative, I didn't find it to be that funny. It was good, but not hilarious. Still better than that Colbert crap though.

Colbert? Crap?

You're On Notice.

Is anyone else creeped out by the fact that the laughter sounds so forced from the clip of the show?

Rightists don't have a good sense of Humour

Is that the same narrator from the Daily Show and David Letterman?
I've heard that guys voice before

Forced laughs, bad jokes, partisan hackery, waste of time for anyone with a brain.

It seems like they were playing the same bad "fake laugh" track over and over again. Had to switch it off, the laughs were getting to my head.

Really pathetic.

The news anchors were amateur actors. The jokes seemed to come from late 90's SNL writers.

Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert are veteran comedians.

That was stupid. Also, the announcer in the promo is the first person I've ever heard who doesn't velarise the first "n" in "penguin."

Jerermy Clarkson (Top Gear) is a very funny guy and very very right wing. But he's brittish, so he's got an advantage on humour.

Evidence that he's a very brave (read: Incredibly stupid) man as well.

Denis Leary, judging by his shows, very right wing, very funny. (If he actually means 10% what he sais on stage)

edit: The show the thread is about is mindless crap.

Other than the fact that I would describe you more than merely "conservative", (Where's your proof of god that you promised, by the way?) there's a difference. While I will admit that the Colbert Report is obviously politically slanted (In the sense that parodying the religious right is much of a political slant) the same cannot be said for the Daily Show. As well, both the Colbert Report and the Daily Show, comment on actual news, and don't focus on making fun of a particular political orientation as its raison d'etre. Such the case is literally for this show, which is made to make fun of liberals. It's not even a satire, like the Colbert Report does; and the Colbert Report does it brilliantly and convincingly. This? You could easily tell that the people were lying; with the Colbert Report, Colbert can actually fool people that he is an idiot. Besides, the Daily Show and the Colbert Report offer commentary and parody on news - but the point of the shows are not necessarily to be mean spirited about an ideology.

Besides, such a show only provides more ammo for the fact that Fox News is politically biased to the right.

I don't think that's quite fair. Hollywood as a whole is politically to the left, so as a result some of the humor would be that which those of opposing viewpoints won't find to be funny. While making fun of liberals for the sake of being liberal is a common conservative form of humor, it's still stupid. One should make fun of actual errors, not stereotypes of such - it's not considered funny on the left to make fun of the evangicals for the sake of them being evangical.

Bah.

I can't stand Colbert or the Daily Show for the same reason I cannot stand Bill Maher and George Carlin. They're all liberal hacks which bash the right to no end. It gets tiresome.

I take it back. I like Carlin UNTIL he starts spewing his misguided political jokes. Then I just put him on mute until he's done.

Wow......that was bad. I could do a better job and I am a really really really bad writer/jokeman

remember we're talking about the fox show and not if you like the daily show/colbert report or not

What I said in a dupe thread:

Regardless of all politics, this just isn't funny. The title kind of gave that away for me.

Daily Show and Colbert Report are about satire, this is just about ******** 1-dimensional jokes. BAD ones, at that.

The fact that there's a laugh track just goes to show how stupid this is. I give it 4 episodes.

I would rather watch Sharpe and VRCW at a desk telling jokes than watch this. It just isn't even close to funny.

When I watched this, I actually hoped it would be a little better so I could be offended and maybe get angry. Instead I just felt bad for those poor schmucks who had to embaress themselves with such crappy material.

Honestly I think the Daily Show and Colbert Report have funnier cracks at the Left wing, and they are for it.

And the Right does have a sense of humor. PJ O'Rourke is hilarious...Other then him though, what do conservatives find funny? Honestly Im curious.
