Conspiracy theory time: What if this investigation is the result of Trump seeking retaliation against Fox News for being anti-Trump during the Republican primaries? Could this be the beginning of Trump's administration using the DOJ and US attorneys to harass and bully his opponents in the media into silence?

"Being the most profitable" is not necessarily going to be a virtue. I mean, it's what Shareholders want. And when it comes to Fox, you're the product, not the customer. But in the end, we want to think of Fox as a news organization, and that news organizations lead to a more informed populace. So, 'money and profits' is a bit of a red herring. Maybe a bit worse, because it presents profit as virtue.
