some people prefer using default names as much as possible ...

if you check the score board though you will see yoshiegg is winning.... closely followed by yoshiegg who is playing as pascal

they both play in cyan! they are basically the same

The funny, at least to me, was that Geronimo was the code name for Osama Bin Laden. In case anyone was unaware.

That seems pretty insulting, to a great Indian chief. :p Bin Laden's code name should've been "Poop on a Stick" or something equally derisive.

When you heard the news, did anyone else view the headline as Osama bin Laden has died in combat! or Osama bin Laden has been killed by a Navy Seal (Washington)!?

I read it as Osama bin Laden has been killed by a Navy SEAL (Obama)!

Your Navy SEAL has killed an Arabian Osama Bin Laden!

Your Gunship died in Combat to an Osama bin Laden!
Your Navy SEAL killed an Insurgent!

Actually, the plan had several stages (A, B, C, ...) and they named them ... Stage G (Geronimo) was kill or capture OBL. So as the NSeals were taking the compound, they were reporting back to base ...

Stage A complete
Stage B under way
etc
etc
...
Stage G complete
(cheer heard from the Situation Room)

It looks like it is outside the BFC of whatever cty s ear it. If so this is not so funny or even strange. The AI almost always puts forts down on resources outside there City Radius'. Hell even I never put down a standard improvement but instead use forts on the resources on the fringes of my empire.
