This one isn't exactly "keeling over laughing" kind of funny either, but I found it amusing.

Barb galleys caught between a rock and a cold place.

Build forts to form a canal. Rid the world of these murderous picaroons. :hammer:

Or just build a submarine.

you'll have to wait until you have a sub to go and kill them.

I'm pretty sure you can hit both with enough forts. One can have a boat enter a fort as long as it is touching a sea tile, even an ice-covered sea tile, right?

Yep. Two forts will get you the first boat and two more will get you the second. If you have tons of idle workers and could use a couple free XP, go for it...

EDIT: Well, you'd have to make three forts for the first one unless you're okay with destroying that mammoth powerhouse 1:food:1:hammers:1:commerce: windmill ya got there.

nope, he needs only 2, 1s of oil and 1w of silver, both touch sea and you can pass through

Hehe, and then I suppose the two tiles between the galleys would get to the other one.

Don't laugh at the windmill in the ice  It's generally more windy there, and less crowded, so people don't have to look at these abominations from their kitchen window. A PR "expert" also said it would mitigate  from drilling in the Arctic.

Guys guys guys!!! We are looking at a primitive race, propably eskimoes or a long lost viking tribe who live peacefully in an otherwise uninhabitable environment.
And all you guys can talk about is annihilation, genocide, nuclear holocaust, submarine-attacks and melting the polar ice by digging fort canals!!!??!
Good thing none of you are the president of the united states of america or another ruler of a similar strong military force. (you arent are you???)

LEAVE THE BOATS ALONE.... THEY DONT DO ANYTHING TO YOU...

Well, they probably go left and right a few times after each turn which can be boring to watch...
Too bad the boats can only enter forts on sea-adjacent tiles, otherwise he could start building a canal through his land and when the boat enters it cut it off by destroying the first fort and trap it on land...

Ok - if we want to be all wishy-washy and set those barbs free ... then you should build the Great Wall, plant a city up North and push culture. The should be expelled when your borders pop enough. Or doesn't TGW work on barb galleys?

For the record, they were left alone all game. First the one to the left appeared, and then at some point another one popped up. Think I noticed when I was roading to those oils, for lack of anything useful to do with the workers.

My "navy" consisted of the Galleon you can see in the bottom of the screen, and two frigates on the other side of the map. Hardly worth the bother :D

Yep... don't know how I missed that :crazyeye:

Come on guys. The only logical solution to this is nuclear destruction.

Take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. Only way we can be sure. :nuke:

My "navy" consisted of the Galleon (...)

"Flying Dutchman" ! People are superstitious U know ! haha :D ;)

edit: "woman on board arghhhhhhhhhhh !!!!!!!!!!!! ..... ehhhhhh ... oh .... "u know" damn ! :D:D:D:D

TGW only works on the continent. I guess "continental shelf" doesn't count. :(

Some great shots! :goodjob: In this one I actually like the giant crabs in the bay at the foot of the mountain near the top left of the picture! :)
those workers scares me shitless (notice I am not trying to avoid autocensor + 1 internets plesase :D ;) ? ) Anyways those workers looks like Titans !!! (snip ?)
