I use an iPhone, a Macbook, a desktop computer, a Nintendo DS and a TI-84 Plus Calculator on a regular basis.

The laptop/desktop spread is interesting. I'm curious which is peoples' primary.

I regularly use a laptop and a smartphone. I have other things but don't use them regularly.

I also object to the poll wording, there are very common generic terms that could have been used like "console game thing".

I use a desktop computer and that's it. When I have a cellphone, I keep it turned off. Techfree and happy. :D No unwanted noise, no thing demanding my attention...

Whenever my current PC needs replacing, I'm THINKING about switching to laptops. Online requirements and STEAM have pretty much soured me on modern PC gaming, and gaming was the main reason I went with desktops instead of laptops. If I'm just playing games made in the early 2000s, though, I might as well go for the mobility...

I had a TI-82. Now I can use a computer instead

What are you using a computer for (inference to the TI-82)?

Desktop (Medion..something something) which I use for gaming and stuff, laptop (Dell Inspiron 6400) which I use for officestuff and internet, Ipod (something), smart phone HTC wildfire, I really need a new one), Console (Xbox 360)

I've got some nice bottle openers and my favorite gadget:
My Cinema chair with cupholders and up/down movable armrest :smug: :D

Desktop, Console and mobile phone. I considered getting an mp3 player but lots of places just sell ipods (which I don't want) and I don't like spending money.

Why are so many of the choices listed by brand? Why not "Portable mp3 player", "Touchscreen portable mp3 player", "Slate-form computer", and "eBook reader" or similar? I wouldn't vote for any of the Apple-branded choices if I had a competing brand's product, simply because it implies support for the Apple brand (and probably similarly if I had a competing eBook reader). Apple and Amazon already lead those markets, why support monopolization?

My not-so-smart phone doubles as a portable mp3 player, although I don't actually use it for that very often. I could, though.

I forgot about my TI-83+ when voting. But I don't use it that often.

My primary is now my desktop. But that changed recently since I didn't have a desktop until December. The laptop still gets occasional use, though, especially when traveling.

I am somewhat surprised that desktops are (currently) more common than laptops. I'm not as surprised that portable DVD players aren't very popular.
