Like many I you, I have a particular set of skills, but programming is not one of them.
I hope this is not dead, but if it does not continue, thanks to all of you who created games, ran the forums and did so much work behind the scenes.
You guys are the greatest !

I likewise hope these contests can continue on in some form. I've taken part on and off since nearly the beginning. I started losing sleep playing just another turn of the GOTMs in high school and still find myself coming back to it in my 40s. I likewise don't have the technical skills to directly help this effort, but would hate to see it die. There may not be many of us left, but it's a fun diversion from real life and I find myself still learning things about the game nearly a quarter century after it's initial release. Thanks to all that have/do/hopefully will keep the lights on a bit longer!

The GOTM website is now back - at https://gotm.civfanatics.net/ - but at this stage only for Civ4 games, although you can look at Civ3 past results. We are still working on the Civ3 stuff.

templar_x and I were a bit unsure about the survival of this contest and demotivated, so we are a little bit late in game development. We hope to have the game out by the end of this week. Sorry for any inconvenience. I hope it will be worth waiting for.
