Now that the toppling of statues and protests are slowly becoming less potent and more symbolic means to achieve progress is there a leader within the black community ready to organise a movement for real change long term?
So far the protesters has only shown that they are bent on destruction and succeeded only in further escalating the conflict. Nobody seems to have any constructive ideas or, perhaps, someone has but they are failing to make themselves heard, small wonder with such noise around.
Yeah, but "escalate because they can't help it" is the opposite of "perfectly conscious and deliberate provocation".
You are still responsible for choosing to escalate. This is another huge problem - people refuse to take responsiblity for their actions and their consequences and will blame anyone for their problems but themselves.
