1820 AD: Ghandi threatens to cut off our supply of silk unless we give him the secret of flight. The Chancellor flies into Delhi for a summit meeting. Neither side gives in and the Chancellor is heard muttering something like, 'no scribes allowed'. The Chancellor returns to Berlin and convinces congress to grant German citizens a special 'luxury' tax refund (at the expense of R&D).
The old Roman cities of Hispalis, Viroconium, Pompeii, Ravenna and Lugdunum are all 'liberated' from Japan. This deprives Japan of some oil, rubber and aluminum while opening the Road ro Rome. Our panzer roll over some Roman infantry outside Pompeii.
1822: Ghandi demands our fine German wine. The Chancellor flies to Delhi once more and offers to trade German wines for Indian silks. Ghandi refuses. While in Delhi the Chancellor is approached by a Roman emissary who offers peace in Ceasar's name. Since there are no territorial concessions on Rome's part the offer is rejected.
Our ivory imports have stopped. No matter, there are elephants in Japan.
Kyoto is occuppied after a fierce battle and the Japanese government flees to Nagoya. A few divisions of panzers roll in right behind them. the government flees to Nagasaki leaving behind 10 resistors in Nagoya. The panzers are sent to Nagasaki. The Japanese fight to their last defender but the outcome is inevitable. Six resistors are left in Nagasaki as the government flees to Tokyo. Our panzers are unable to reach that city but do capture Shimoneski.
1824: Riots in our cities. More Grouchos mobilized. Some of our cities start producing wealth. Battlefield Medical Center completed in Berlin.
Most of our panzers have stopped to refuel though there was enough diesel left to take Pisae from the Romans. Der Tweischen Panzergruppen formed.
1826: German troops land near Novgorod. Panzers make repairs as our artillery positions itself for the final assault on Japan.
