Concept Introductionary Folder/history.file

//As with the coming of the Dawn, the Globes, having lived in dark isolation for all memory, suddenly awoke. The black carpet was lifted by the new light; the Dawn had given the globits vision and eyes, now they could sense the world again. Traveling their black-clad soil, the globits settled in cities, beginning to live off the resources present in the Globe. They would soon expand the cities to a point they had never been before.

Concept Introductionary Folder/concept.file

//Welcome to my latest installment of a NES! This time, I am yet again playing with another direction. This NES will be focused around the two-dimensional (!) mass known as the "Globe". On this Globe, players each control a city and will use their globits (inhabitants) to harvest resources off the soil and prosper with profit into a higher state of existence. Much like civilization; but this NES is focused around resources, trade, production and goods. And no, I won't refrain from using silly names instead of serious ones (globits better suit this game design than population imo). All resources will be made up and as such will be used from only the experience acquired in this NES.

Concept Introductionary Folder/jointemplate.file

//While the rules aren't completely straight from my side yet, I still expect some people with the will to join, and I will not hinder them in doing so. :) Initially, a player will begin with a small food economy, with basic food production, one House (used to house globits), and one Tank (military unit used to control workers etc.). When the thread starts, I will start a secular "Marketplace" thread with the sole purpose of being a trade thread, if enough players have joined. The starting template will be formatted as:

Your city name here/your username
Description: A general description, if applicable, goes here.

//I have gained quite a good deal of motivation for this NES because of the curious thread replies, and I hope people are still intrigued with the general idea I have of this world. I hope people are willing to have as much fun as I hope to generate - I mean, produce, of course.

GOODBYE AND MAY DAS BE GOOD WITH YOU!!

Placeholder posts are especially neat if nothing has been revealed about the OP yet.

Only one more needed for this thread.

And this was it.

And yes, the last ljNES died. I'm sorry. I lost interest because RL got crazy. Right now, vacations are coming up, so I think that RL will be somewhat quiet for once, allowing me to run a damn NES.

So you may post now, even if nothing has been revealed about this thing yet. ;)

I'm sad to hear that Kraznaya. Can't you look at NES maps at all?

First official spoiler of what I have plans for. I hope I didn't lose anyone there.

Imageshack.us is what I have problems with. I ask mods of NESes I am in to use a different host, such as Imagehost.org, or attach the files to the CFC database.

Good to see people are interested ;)

@Kraz, I'll have the pics you haven't seen edited into Imagehost in a minute. :)

Now for the next spoiler:

What the young economist learned is up for you to learn. His city was a playground, but he underestimated the power of Daft.

Subscription post. And I get it.. You gather, trade, construct, expand.. Then you gather again... Get off my freakin back with your mantra already geez.

It's a circle bro.
