GodNES - The Beast with a Thousand Backs

Yeah, Frozen stole my forest idea too. Jerk :p

Why not make an application

Deity Name: Artharax, High Judge of the Universe, Lawgiver of Existence, Lord of the Laws
Embodiment: Order and Law, both Physical and Societal
Player: Grandkhan
Description: Artharax the Lawgiver is the embodiment of Order, who arranges the Primordial Chaos to his will. He is depicted as a swirling grey smoke of chaos, curling into the shape of an immensely tall man, with a vast beard, holding the Hammer of Order in one hand and the Rake of Law in the other. His eyes glow a dark red, lighting the entire smokey chaotic structure with a red tinge.
First Action: Artharax forms from the primordial chaos, and says unto it, "Now is the time for order!" With a mighty blow from his hammer, he smashes the Chaos to his will, impressing unto it the Natural Laws of gravity and electromagnetism and demanding that it shall bow to his will for all time. And Artharax stepped back, and saw that this was good.

Decided to change my God's domain from Sun and Seasons to Sun and Light because it made more sense.

The domain of seasons is now up for grabs if anyone feels like cursing their opponent's land to eternal winter.

Thwap places a tack under Artharax's foot so that when he stepped back, it hurt.

He finds this very tacky.

Deity Name: Tsamnir, Apathetic Guardian of Black and White, Eternal Caretaker of the Universal Scales, Illusory Shepherd of Divine and Saecular
Embodiment: Balance; Opposites
Player: Bair_the_Normal
Description: Tsamnir is dead, and alive. Tsamnir holds no grudges or favors. Tsamnir lacks a personality. Tsamnir doesn't even know what that word means, much less any 'words' in general. Tsamnir is no more than a concept. But Tsamnir is a law before laws. Tsamnir is conscious. Tsamnir knows all that happens within both Tsamnir's realm, where Tsamnir may influence what Tsamnir deems an imbalance, and also outside Tsamnir's realm, where Tsamnir is unable to influence any imbalances, much too weak to be able to. But nonetheless, Tsamnir makes suggestions. Tsamnir talks without a voice to those who don't listen. Tsamnir motionlessly prods and pokes those who have no physical manifestation. Tsamnir simply is, and Tsamnir simply takes care of the massive set of Scales of this universe. Tsamnir will move on once this universe has ended, and Tsamnir will reform as a new Tsamnir, One who Balances the Scale. Apparently, Tsamnir isn't aware that other gods exist. If Tsamnir does, Tsamnir only sees them as an annoyance or a boon, depending on how they tip the Scales. If Tsamnir could get migraines, managing the Scales would give Tsamnir a migraine every day.
First-Turn Realm: A plain plain, off where no one will see it.

EDIT: Shucks, I was in the process of writing about Tsamnir as GK posted Artharax. If, Angst, you feel as though they may be too similar, I'll change it up.

Claiming a god of War and honor.

Stop poking me! You're worse than Thwap. :p

Tsamnir is unaware of who is attempting to contact Tsamnir. Tsamnir is currently attempting to decide whether Tsamnir can get headaches or not. If Tsamnir could, this minor annoyance above might give Tsamnir a headache.

On a minorly major side note, Tsamnir isn't better or worse than anybody or anything.

Tsamnir also wonders whether 'you' could apply to Tsamnir.

Thwap draws and not draws a mustache on Tsamnir's face and not face.

Thwap is amused and not amused by copying and not copying Tasamnir's mannerisms for the moment.

Eh they seem kind of different. The embodiment of Law vs. the embodiment of balance. I dunno.

its an application anyway so its a moot point.

Thwap places a tack under Artharax's foot so that when he stepped back, it hurt.

He finds this very tacky.

YOUR DESTRUCTION WILL LAST A THOUSAND YEARS AND THERE WILL BE NOUGHT BUT TORMENT

Tsamnir appreciates the balancing of capitals versus lowercase.

Tsamnir wonders what capital letters are.

Tsamnir thanks but does not appreciate Thwap's antics. Tsamnir notes the nonexistence of mustaches or indeed any form of facial hair. Tsamnir doesn't know what a face is, but thinks that Tsamnir has one.

Mmm... yeah, I may have to solve one of those problems right here.

OOC: I think the sun already existed, prior to our existence. It's possible that you made a second sun, or something of the sort. Either way, a God of Fear and Darkness is going to be none too pleased about this development. ;)

Have at ye coward!

OOC: In my gods description you can see my backstory for how the First Sun was created as its creation was glossed over in the introduction. If Angst decides he doesn't like it then i'll be happy to change it.

The Curator, the Caretaker of Memories, Guardian of Secrets, and Dying Breath

Embodiment: Secrets, Memories, Lost Things. Stasis.

Player: Seon

Description: Nobody has ever seen the Curator, only heard its voice amid cataclysmic storms or in the coolest breeze of the darkest cavern. Others have only ever seen its agents, and its influence reaches far.

He did not exist ever since the beginning of time. When the demon turtle finally died after untold eons, a part of it refused to die with it. When the beast let out its final dying breath, the Curator was created. It fed off of... well, no one really knows, such is the way of the God of Secrets, and grew powerful.

The Curator remembers everything. When something ends, the Curator is the one which records their life story. He does not judge, does not condemn, does not praise, does not reward, and does not punish. He leaves the judgement to others, for it believes that the others are better suited for such endeavors. His gift is with his neigh-ubiquitous nature and his ability to remember everything, not with understanding. The concepts of justice, fairness, and cruelty is completely alien to it.

As the sum of the world's secrets and lost things, it preserves and remembers the dead and the lost, and hears every secrets whispered in the quiet places of the world.

It does not seek malice. It only seeks to preserve and remember the world as it is. However, the Curator holds a grudge against the other gods for changing the remains of the great turtle to suit their own needs, for it believes it should have been preserved in stasis.

First Turn Actions:

Preserve a section of the turtle's Spines...turning it into a mountain range which will madden lesser minds. This is where the first Museum will be created.
