Will you be releasing any information on these terrorists?

To preserve the integrity of the investigation we will not be making specific details public. What I can reveal is that we believe the terrorists to be Persian citizens and that despite their focus on the capital our investigations have shown no link between them and Persepolis meaning they could strike anywhere.

Quarter Session Event

Persia, under the national emergency, hold its breath, awaiting the announced terrorist attempt. People stayed in their homes, many ready to fight the hated terrorists. People in the streets were not very happy with being followed and watched carefully by the Security Forces, but many understood why. None had forgotten the actions these bloodthirsty terrorists took.

Then things begun to get complicated. A protest formed in the main square of Persepolis. They called for more freedom of religion. Soon, however, the Security Forces arrived at the scene and began braking them apart. Many indeed went home, but many had to be forced to break away from this crowd. Those who did not leave were searched and one was even arrested. Fortiunately there was no bloodshed, and the protesters kept their word of peaceful protesting.

This however, was seen by some as the stopping of freedom of speech, but none formally protested due to the terrorist warning.

Then wonderful news came from Babylon city. King Arsalan took the ancient ritual of kingship, ancient Babylonian tradition. Choruses were sang, adoration was given to Mazdaean equivalents of Baylonian gods, and the idol was shown. The king slowly approached the idol while there was a mystic feeling in the ruined temple. The king touched the idol, and increadibly it began to shine! All th Babylonians bowed to their new king. Even Persians were surprised, and they also bowed. King Arsalan is the rightful air to the throne of babylon. Due to the national emergecy, celebrations were quickly put down by Security Forces.

Then news of a death arrived to Persepolis. Satrap Filli Noctus II has passed away of Natural Causes.. Not only did he die, but Ziggur Velvell has also died. Then news came to Artaparsa that their admired Satrap has also fallen to a strange sickness while he stayed in Istanbul. The new Satrap of Artaparsa is Ardeshir Artaparsi, and it is unclear who inherits the Satrap position in the Noctu Family. The king must also appoint a new Minister of Domestic Affairs and Culture. There must also be a new High Priest.

Riots in Istanbul are still occuring. Ottoman Security has not been able to contain the riots ravaging wealth and commerce. Crowds are also demanding an end to King Suleiman II, though it has not yet gained enouogh strength to be an important threat. Still, Ottomans are very chaotic at the moment.

We also received news of a revolution occuring in Siam, the details are of course, not known.

Alas my brother has died from illness when not even the chaos of Istanbul could take him and when he had taken safe lodging away from the worst of the riots.

To the people of Persia, I say that I will continue my families policies in regards to Artaparsa and will ensure that my brothers wishes achieve fruition. I also make this vow before Ahura Mazda that should I find out that my brothers death was commited by unnatural means... then the ones responsible shall be destroyed utterly and completely. The assasination of an emissary is a grave insult, and if this illness was the result of poison or some other anthropogenic agent, the Ottoman Empire is obliged and must if this is indeed the case, pay recompense for its failure to protect the representatives of Persia, both to the state and to the House of Artaparsi.

SATRAPY OF SAYEHABAD

In regards to the death of Satrap Filli Noctus II, the law clearly shows that in this case Filli Noctus III cannot inherit the satrapial throne. However this simply means he is passed over for heir to his eldest son. If he lacks sons than since he has a brother, Farzan Noctus, that brother would take the satrapial throne. If his eldest son is not of age then one of the brothers would become regent of Sayehabad until such a time passes that the rightful heir reaches majority.

MINISTERIAL POSITIONS

The positions of Supreme Commader, domestic affairs and foreign affairs are vacant. I would suggest to His Majesty the King that they are filled immediately in light of the recent deaths.

I concur with Ardeshir on the matter of my fathers satrapy. My brother Farzan shall be regent until an heir comes of age.
I do find the coincidental deaths of ministers and satraps somewhat worrying. As the Minister of Law is absent I am appointing Domination as advisor to the ministry and order him to investigate the deaths.
I must consider for a time who to appoint as new ministers.
The captured guerrilla leader, Jahik, has confessed to the crimes he committed. He has also revealed that the terrorists and guerrilla fighters are ultimately controlled by the same cabal.

and send the rest of Persia into panic considering the tension already or start another drawn out case like the supposed murder of Persia's first king of kings.

No accusations are being made at this time but I feel that an investigation is required, to reassure the public that no foul play occurred if nothing else.

On another note following communications with Augustus Caesar of the Roman Empire I have decided to appoint an ambassador to Rome. After careful consideration I have decided to grant the position to Farzam Chgrogers.

It is a wonder anyone listens to this Christos considering the obvious fallacies and inconsistencies in his ramblings. Indeed you only have to read his book, the Testimony of Kira, to know that he is irrevocably and utterly insane. Although of course this book is censored in Persia due to its sacrilegious content and thus is out of due discretion and for Christos' own security kept on the index of prohibited writings in a vault in the great library and removed from public availability.

Persia as a state is strong. The Ottoman empire already is in our orbit out of fear of the Romans, the west is basically ours for the taking and overall the nation's economic and military state of being are strong. The problem is the insurgents within the empire. That is the liberal radicalists who through their actions are blithely damaging the internal stability and thus the strength of the empire in pursuit of their own personal advantage. They are sacrificing the greater good of Persia on the altar of their own greed, we only need to see the cost of their terrorist acts to understand that.

The way forward is to work within the system, for the people in a gradual and coherent development. Not to spark riots, coups and other damaging acts which harm only the innocent people on the streets and on the land who form the backbone of our Empire.

You addressed me as King in your reply. This reversal of acknowledgement as to who is actually King is another sign of insanity. As is his schizophrenic and delusional ramblings proclaiming that I, Ardeshir Artaparsi assasinate people, something which is totally false and indeed laughable. It is also laughable to say that I have a bank (whatever this "bank" thing is) or that I, or my family do nothing for the poor.

I now must request of His Majesty the King and considering this dialogue that Christos is transferred to a maximum security asylum. He needs special care in the hopes of restoring some semblance of sanity, and I am afraid standard incarceration is doing him further harm. It would be for his own good, he must be confined and cared for lest he harm others and himself in his delusions.
