Guess the Map IX: The Richese are no match

...So I'm locking in % over 60 if that's not too much like Mulatto's guess.

Well, all I did was plagiarize your idea anyway...

(Glad this thread's alive again, thanks everybody. It's the best non-Civ thing on CFC.)

Something to do with CO2 absorption?

I think it's more than that.

Spoiler :

Most of the DRC is in the purple-orange range and a lot of it is bright yellow.

Excuse the double post.

It's probably closer to 50 or 60 per sq. km per year as an average for the whole country. Also, I'd be interested to see data for summer months in certain US states since that's when almost all of our lightning occurs.

I'll wait for confirmation from Really before posting since that seems like the polite thing to do.

Apologies, I made a mistake. The UK is green, not orange. I made a copy of the map while resizing and must have clicked the UK orange by accident. I'm pretty sure the other countries are all right, including Bulgaria.

Bulgaria is a Socialist country?

Some sort of human rights issue?

So the question is: in what Internet-related thing is Japan more like Russia, China, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, and Bulgaria, than it is like South Korea along with such human rights champions as Iran, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and all the smaller Gulf states excluding Iraq? And what do these countries have in common with most of the West? And in what way are Iceland, the Czech Republic, and Lithuania along with Albania and Bosnia somewhat purpler than most of Europe including Moldova, Belarus and Ukraine, but greener than Russia and Bulgaria? Assuming that orange is something intermediate between green and purple, that is.

I have no answers, only questions.
