Hmm! I have to confess I did finally play Stalin last night for 2 hours. I actually felt good doing that.

Anyhow, the final shots of this game, and the saves. I think that's the end of this thread now.

Space race is fine, but I have an innate dislike for UN/AP/cultural victories. It just seems extremely weird to me when some pathetic civilization with 3 cities, no army, and medieval technology suddenly becomes ruler of the world, just because everyone else likes them or they built a bunch of cathedrals. A human player would wipe out such a civilization without a second thought.

The only times I win Diplos are when all the civs are my vassals or have had their cities razed by armies.

Good diplo, probably also favorable religious alignment.

You don't need to have all the AI in good terms with you for that ... you just need that all of them hate someone more than you

AI only attack his worst enemy and neglect the power graph?

I choose death insteal of pleasing some MFer. that's why I've never been to 17th centry on deity maybe.

AI's don't always attack their worst enemy. Factors include distance, land borders, the power graph, and other wars.
