I too may be unable to get the game until Monday. I am not sure yet. Home internet access wasn't working last time I looked.

I can take the game home on Monday when I go to work. May need a swap or something. Not sure yet though. I guess I can post if I go online.

there ia a stack of workers and 1 cat exposed that will be caught in the IT, this ain't good. A number of tiles in the core are not improved
and our captial employs a taxman due to this.
MM to change this, readjust other towns for better MM. Cover the worker stack with 3 pikes.

IT there are a lot of units running around, worker stack does not get attacked, but initial Indian stacks head west

1. 70AD
kill French MDI + Spanish warrior, defeat 2 spear and raze Santander, need to pull back settler, there are simply too many Indian
units around to be able to settler, defeat 2 French units to get our cat back [6-0]

IT India prefers to head west instead of attacking

2. 90AD
found Handy Lake, defeat 2 wounded French MDI, a Spanish spear
defeat 2 Indian spears in the stack of 15 units, kill 2 more Spanish units [13-0]

IT no attacks, big Indian stack head to Centralia and asome get hit passing our army :)

3. 110AD
defeat 3 more units, now reduced to 11 units
defeat Indian spear outside Salamanca [17-0]

IT lose pike on defense, Indians head for Poitiers now, win 2 on defense [19-1]

4. 130AD
rush walls for the upcoming Indian onslaught

at Centralia/Poitiers, defeat 4 units, there are now 18 archers, 7 spears and 3 warriors in defferent stacks

IT India attacks and the outcome is 5:2 (we lose 1 pike and 1 MDI) [29-3]

5.150AD
kill 3 French outside Handy lake
defeat 4 more Indians [34-3]
found Oka in the southeast

IT French lose 3 MDI at Handy lake, but beat 1 pike, Indians lose 6 archers at Centralia to 1 heroic pike [43-4]
GL gives us engineering

6. 170AD
defeat 3 units in the east, 1 army healing, kill 2 Indians at Centralia [48-4]

IT India loses 4 units at Centralia, while Spain suicides 3 at Handy Lake [55-4]
the worst is over in the west, India burned most of their units

7. 190AD
defeat 3 Indians in the west, 1 Spanish in our hinterland
clear 3 units at Handy Lake, march finally onto Vitoria and Asturias
found Chondota in the west
get Salamanca to 15spt (1 pike every 1 turns) [62-4]

8. 210AD
defeat 2 spears and Asturias is gone :)
defeat an archer next to former city, defat 2 Indians in the west and march onto new Chittagong
defeat 3 units in the east to clear way for horses, beat 1st units in Vitoria [70-4]

IT lose exposed MDI, we get theology and invention from GL [70-5]
another 6 units stack of India shows up at Centralia

9. 230AD
defeat 1 unit and Vitoria is gone for 2 slaves :)
defeat 3 Indian units, lose MDI to spear at Tonawanda, where 2 Babs landed
defeat 4 Spanish units in the west to clear way for another town [78-6]

IT Babs lose unit at Tonawanda but land another horse [79-6]
Spanish land 3 units in our hinterland

10. 250AD
clear 1 unit and found horse town
clear Babs horse, but spear is left
army next to Chittangong is rested since there are 3 units inside [81-6]

we will get a Mountie next turn and hopefully beat that spear to trigger the GA
I suggest to use it to build some infrastructure as well, we will come out of the GL phase and need some research capability
I would use next MGL for FP then pentagon

Looks like nice progress. Agree on building the FP with next leader, but not sure about pentagon. Maybe we should build some libs or markets in our core during the GA. And i think it will be better to switch MDI production to mounties even in the towns where we loose some shields from this.

After Action – Keep a force at Tonawanda. The Babs are dropping off units there.
We have some infrastructure completing now. A couple of libraries, a duct in Grand River, a couple of market places, some barracks… all complete. Need to keep the libraries and universities building. We’ll need the science. The last two libraries cut four turns off our science rate. Horse Town has been a favorite as has Theoville.

bummer....and if I am not wrong, we can't build the cheap MW any longer? I much rather have them so much cheaper.

We now need to get out more towns to start getting science farms. Can we clear the western part of the continent to settle there?

Then we need to push foward faster and soon think of getting armies across. Remember the difficult part is to stop the AI on the other continent...next army shouldn't be filled completely, and we should try and explore a bit first.

In other words can we build our UU during our GA if we have chivalry?

Yes - We can pillage our own iron and build 30 shield MW's. Do we want to do this, or build as many 70 shield knights as we can during the GA?

I think the MW's under army cover are the better option, but I would like to hear your opinions. More MW's will allow for a faster land grab, and with cat support they can kill pikes.

I also plan to build a couple of boats to explore with. Priority #1 needs to be finding the other continent, and the insertion of an army over there. If we accomplish that soon we are almost assured of victory.
