Help me out and win a case of beer

So I have registered with imageshack (photo bucket won't get to the registration page "too many redirects" and the problems with imgur have been mentioned in a previous post. The apps won't work cause it says I need iOs 4.3 or 6 or something)

When I go to my imageshack page, the "choose file" option is greyed out so I can't seem to copy any of my saved pics into the box

EDIT....the help page implies I may need to upgrade my flash player? WTH?

Note: I'm not really familiar with any of these, so there is a chance that they suck.

Is your iPad fully updated? That could be your problem.

Do you have a computer that you have iTunes installed on?

Check settings > general > about and find the version number. That way, we at least know what you're running and how desperately in need of an update it might be.

If it's anything like my iPod Touch, the iTunes on your iPad is just the iTunes store. It won't have the functionality to update the operating system.

I'd recommend finding someone who knows their way round computers, and get them to help you with this. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4972 I recommend getting someone who can work a computer reasonably well because I assume you don't want to risk potentially losing data like photos.

If you update the operating system, this should fix your imageshack problem, and possibly the imgur one.

Ok, so here's the challenge.

I'm tearing my hair out due to my inability to post pictures on CFC. I appreciate the attempts by Camikaze and Formaldehyde to teach me but I simply can't do it. (you guys are welcome to enter of course)

First person to come up with instructions that work gets a case of beer (I feel this is a universal enough currency to kick start proceedings, if you don't drink beer I'm flexible).

I want to be able to post pictures from the net, e-mails etc

I have an i pad, that's it. It's an old one.

You will need to seriously dumb it down to take the prize. See how seriously is bolded? That was a big achievement for me, just learning how to put stuff in bold. You're gonna have to earn your beer.

How will you get paid? I dunno yet, but you'll get paid I assure you. Judges decision (me) is final but this is a legitimate offer. I look forward to your answers.

These should have a box with a button with "Browse" next to them, at least on my computer. Then you can select the picture and click start uploading.

Anyway, Azza's recommendation of updating is certainly best.

There are websites where you can upload pics and they give you a URL for it...
www.photobucket.com was one, if it is still around.
