Our very own Lohrenswald is one a direct descendent from a line of Swedish kings, unfortunately his branch was disgraced due to illegitimacy. It is a rather simple proposition we have, Lohrenswald in his goal to once again become King of Sweden needs to rebuild his wealth. The ideal replacement is a non-noble socialite of British or American origin, as is fitting for a noble back on the rise. The chosen consort will become a princess and eventually queen .

My first thought too.

Anyways, would Sweden care about the religion of its monarch these days? I recommend Lohrenswald convert to Zoroastrianism and marry his sister for a nice hefty prestige and piety boost. He can also then have concubines too for more prestige and children. I also recommend he find a better spymaster to improve his chances of, er, successfully eliminating any who cross him. Actually owning some territory would help, so he might need to raise up cash to send his army of adventurers somewhere.

Well, she did get everything I had at the time, but that didn't make her rich. The OP asked for socialite, not rich. The ex-wife in question has a multitude of notable ancestors and her family never ceased to remind us that she had "married down", so I think she would qualify.

Socialites are people who are basically famous for being famous. They don't have to be smart, but they do need to at least have the appearance of wealth and some kind of prestige. Elizabeth Taylor didn't have a pedigree, but she was certainly famous (not sure about wealthy).

Ex wife had wealthy background and a name that entitled her to that high social position...until she married me and got stuck with mine...but she did skip all the attending functions bit.

I suppose she is an ex-socialite, or perhaps a once potential but not socialite. Offer withdrawn. Probably too old for Lohrenswald anyway. Would have been interesting having my kids become step-children of a King though.
