Interesting, though, that the accusation comes out when he's taken the lead in Iowa. Doesn't really invalidate the allegations, but it's interesting timing.
My thoughts exactly. If the allegations don't have much strength or impropriety attached, then I'd bet this temporarily boosts support from him as it throws some suspicion on his competition.
I think it might be helpful to look at what he's actually accused of: a pattern of unwanted advances without more details provided.

Right now the "scandal" seems to undeveloped, and still in the "pay my lawyer more money, and I'll hush up". The fact that money was paid suggests there may be some truth to the accusations, but other than it might have been some indecency, we don't really know the full scope. I suspect that if we don't hear more details of the case then it will lose strength until the possible time at which it were a Cain vs. Obama debate.
Was Cain banking on Moral Majority support? If so, he definitely loses them to Perry. That's about the impact of it I believe.
