Right then I made it work by going into the Pediaicons and delete what it said about the Reppu plane and this other B-something unit(after a 2nd error message), just to get the game started
(I hadn't downloaded the latest big zip file because I thought I would have to get a new message with a new link to get it.)

Later I downloaded the latest big zip file and the pediaicons file Eric just mentioned and it works fine. This is what I would recomend.

When you signed on you got a PM from Eric with a link to a bunch of files required for this scenario. Download that again, then replace the pediaicons.txt file in your HOF_V3/text folder with the one in post 35.

Man, were there so many units as Germany... I spent nearly half of the night renaming them. I went to sleep at 5 something in the morning.

Checking In...Am away from home for the US Holiday..will be back on Saturday and will play/forward the save then. I do believe I will need the email list and access to Eric's server to upgrade my HOF core files. I did download the Biq file posted earlier. Gents,
I am having difficulty getting the save to run. The latest problem involves a missing Art file. Its been awhile since I have played Civ3 and HOF. In fact I had to buy Civ 3 Complete as I could not find my original Civ 3 Conquest disk. I have for the better part of this day tried to get the save to load without luck. It might be in the best interest of the game to replace me as I don't want to hold the game up. Especiallly since the MA's is such a..well minor player.

In the meantime I will try to solve the crash issue so that I can participate fully in the future!

Well guys..Eric sent me the link to the new files which I installed and then added the new pediacons file after. But I am getting an error message about 18% into the loading of the save file sent to me.

It is....Art\tech chooser\icons\manhatten_Project-small.pcx

I really don't want to hold things up so unless someone has an idea on how to fix this..you should probably proceed without me. Don't want that but..I've rarely had issues with previous HOF loads or scenarios as a whole.

Can you verify the path to that file looks exactly like this:

C:\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Civilization III Complete\Conquests\Scenarios\HOF_V3\Art\tech chooser\Icons

Sometimes when you unzip you get an extra \HOF_V3 in the path.

There was an extra HOF..I deleted it then when I restarted Civ Complete it failed!! So I am attempting to reload Civ Complete and start over. But guys that means I am probably another day away from getting this to work..MAYBE! So if you would rather press on then I understand. ITs aleady almost 2 am and I'm ready to quit for the day. Will resume efforts tomorrow. Sorry for the hassle!
