Yeah, I think it's time to head off to America about now.
All that space and no France to fill it, that's lol.
Power vaccuums ftw.
My Scandinavia game has me being the most popular candidate in the Holy Roman electorate (even though I'm not in the Empire) due to 3 electors being my vassals.
Haha, I did that as Austria one time. I didn't want to have to deal with unlawful territory penalties, so I basically made the entire HRE my vassal. Fighting France was fuuuuuuuuuuuuun.
Castille, February 1433:
Thats the plan
Started colonizing Atlantic Canada since its the only place I could reach, and conquered the Zapotecs. Pretty much doubled my land force limits.
Planning on removing those pesky Portuguese from Alabama?
Well I tried to modernize Inca and lasted until late 1500's before England declared war on me and made no work out of my armies.
Colonize Carribeans when you can, high base tax and cofee/tobacco/sugar/cotton resource
When I play as Brittany I forget about Europe and move in America
Yeah, that's a bit of a problem. My king only had Weak claim when he inherited, and something's going wrong with the legitimacy ATM. Not quite sure exactly what.
Get more prestige and royal marriages.
Or recruit a grand marshal.
So in order to try and combat the mega-alliance of the Bohemia-Burgundy personal union, I'm attempting to form my own super alliance. So far I've only gotten Castille and Lithuania in, though once I did Lithuania promptly collapsed. Still trying to get Austria who has thus far refused, and maybe some more like England, The Hansa, Poland, etc.
My Scandinavia game already has a super-alliance between me and über-Austria.
Well, Poland went and declared war on Bohemia, so I was forced to start the war a little bit before I had wanted to. But luckily I had my alliance in place, so I'm going to go for it, and had built up my army.
Champagne/England (personal union)
So I'm playing as Majapahit now. I think I'm one of the more powerful powers in the island chain. Took over Java island, Malacca made quick work of Brunei and I conquered their northern tip before that sultanate on Sulawesi island finished it off. I then conquered the territory they conquered from Brunei. Figuring it'd be good to get some allies, I allied myself with Vijayanagar and set up a royal marriage. Right now Aceh is my primary concern as they've been moving against the Malacca's. Hopefully once I deal with Aceh, I can focus on colonizing the islands to the east.
The aftermath. After a long battle in which my army got mostly wiped out and I had to rely on a mercenary army, but we finally won. I tore Bohemia apart in the peace treaty and took a few strategic provinces in Burgundy to cut them in half. Since I saw they more than 20 war exhaustion, I simply let rebels take hold up there.
I ended up fighting another war with them after Austria invaded Bohemia. Didn't take any land in that one, but Burgundy's northern provinces eventually rebelled. I invaded the new France in Calais/Picardie/Vlanderen.
In North America, I've expanded all the way down to Virginia, as well as colonized Cuba, Hispaniola, Curacao, and Puerto Rico.
Burgundy should be much less of a bother now with Flanders gone.
I want to play a game of EU3 and share it, but... Who as? Major nations are boring, minor nations too hard.
Separate names with a comma.
