How is your EU3 Game going?

I could really use some tips for getting rid of freakishly high infamy right now. And no, there aren't any Diplomat advisors available.

EDIT: ^ Dat Hesse.

Well you can create Diplomat advisers but you'd need Cultural Tradition to get one. But don't make an adviser when your Cultural Tradition is at like 20%! Get somewhere up to 70% to get a high level one. I like to get Patron of the Arts as a National Idea so it counteracts the Cultural Tradition decay and then use my magistrates to commission paintings that build up my Cultural Tradition by 5% each time. With the Patron of the Arts, I don't lose tradition to decay and can store it up until I get like 95%-100%. Then that's when I create an adviser that usually is a 5 star at the least but I can get 6 star advisers too.

OK, I'll try that.

Dat Khiva...

wait, who the heck are Khiva?

Other oddities: Armenia, Astrakhan, Songhai, Aragon actually surviving, Ukraine in Ukraine, Morea not in Morea, Great Britain doesn't exist.

Khanate of Khiva, named after its capital, Khiva, in present day Uzbekistan. One of the three main post-Shaybanid states in Central Asia (the others being Bukhara and Kokand), it lasted from the early 16th century into the mid 19th century as an independent slave-trading Islamic state. It was then incorporated into the Russian Empire as a protectorate. During the Russian Civil War it renamed itself the Khorezm People's Soviet Republic, becoming a communist state. After 1922 it became part of the Soviet Union, and finally ceased to exist on Stalin's orders, becoming part of the Uzbek and Turkmen SSRs.

An update on Operation Get-Those-Armenian-Somethings; It didn't turn out as well as I hoped it would. I was expecting to get all my desired territories, not almost all of them. But really it was their alliance that made me call the operation off sooner than expected. While they lacked in technology, they made up for in armies of over 50 regiments!

Well that's it! I've expanded Hedjaz far beyond the maximum zoom. Operation Get-Those-Armenian-Somethings was a decent success with smoothening out my border. I even had an Armenian province defect to me in the last year! Managed to subjugate Eastern Africa and colonize Southern Africa. Muscowy had a temporary colony in Somalia but a quick war put it under my heel. Got jealous of Japanese Africa and their 4 gold mine provinces so I conquered as much of it as I could without suffering from too much infamy. Otherwise just colonized Madagascar, Taiwan and some islands in the Pacific.

And a huge pieced together view of my primary empire.

England after the 2nd War of English Conquest.

Captured Ilse* de France and renamed it Paris. Made Orleans and Berry shift allegiance to England by forcing them to become vassals of England. Burgundy grabbed 2 provinces in the south and Castille got monetary reparations from France. Brittany wisely stayed out... but their alliance with Munster will bring the two of us to blows next year when I consolidate my power in Ireland. Will most likely create the British Empire in several years when Scotland cores.

Spoiler :

*not sure what the proper spelling is now. :p

Whenever I capture Paris, I always rename "New London" or French Defeat/Shame in whatever the conquering country's language in.

You appear to be playing 5.0, Leonel. Get the full 5.1 patch and you'll be pleasantly surprised.

5.1? I'm playing the Steam version though and I assume it's the latest. I'll have to investigate into this!

Wow that patch is way cool! I was always annoyed that I couldn't figure out what provinces were prime for development without clicking every province.

The fort level mode is really useful when playing as Sweden, as not all your provinces are fortified and it would get annoying to hover over all of them to see if they had forts all the time. You also don't miss out any provinces which might still not have forts.
