How is your EU3 Game going?

What's with the fleur de lis? :p

Sell provinces to your vassals to control your borders, about Antwerpen, it's making your borders ugly, France is rich enough anyway. ;)
As England i usually conquer Flanders tough.

A monstrous France and vast Poland/Hungary/Lithuania is "pretty normal"??

I know, but wanted to make fun of it anyway

EDIT :
From my new Burgundy game in the new D&T version, that has the DAO Map :D

French Corsica in 1405!!! Genoa was even the one to "give" it to them :p

Poor pope, all he did was complete his mission to kill the Schismatic Byzantines...
eu338.jpg

Now my proud Duchy of Burgundy :
eu337.jpg

I was somewhat lucky with missions, i got (generic) missions to vassalize the Palatinate and Munster, Baden is under PU, Lorraine was vassalized with the Burgundian mission while Alsace + Utrecht were pure oportunism.
Oh, i also just got Calais from England, in a war where Castille had attacked Aragon and i had 0% war score (england was leader) and still managed to get Calais! (its cost was 16% WS)

2 things, how bad did I mess up? I didn't know what land and sea spread did so I set them low, in my Castille game, which I am like almost at 1500 in, they are like 50 for land and 25 for sea or something like that.. How bad is that going to ruin my goal of dominating colonization in this game? Can I go into the save file and change them back to defaults?

Second, if I messed up too badly in my castille game I am going to do a new muscovy game, what is the best game plan for handling the horde in unmodded DW? Thanks in advance for any help

Oh and PS

How do you get or enact a PU in DW?

The year is 1635 and James IX, King of the Scots, Emperor of Great Britain, Most Holy Prince in Europe, Fideo Defensor, Rex Christianissimus, is fresh from another defeat of the Zoroastrian Faransans. Castille, Burgundy and Norway have been refounded, but the great Muslim powers still loom in southern and eastern Europe and the rest of the world looks on pitilessly.

Play mods, for Muscowy i suggest D&T or DAO :p

and a Personal Union is like history, by marriages, claims or spies forging claims

It's the 5.1 version of MiscMods (0.78) from here. The Ottomans are the super-power of the game, though the unholy alliance of Magyaristan and Al-Alemand is thoroughly scary!

There is an event which changes cultures back to the pre-Black Death cultures, but no, I changed Akershus to Norwegian, Caux to Burgundian and Madrid to Castillian, so that I could reform the three states from conquered Christian land. There should be be various "Form Jerusalem" missions to bring back the old states, I agree!

Also, update on my Burgundy game :

eu348.jpg

Waiting to see if my king dies and maybe i will be able to form Lotharingia (i only lack the claim in the region, that only is updated on king death)
Like you can see, i got a PU with Bohemia (they had no heir at a point, so i married my allies and BAM, PU whiout claiming) and inherited them, i pwned the hell out of France a lot of times as well (idiots embargoed me a lot)

dat epic Pommerania is HRE, and it is morocco just north of Ostpreussen, while Ottos own Riga.

updating...

YESSSS!
eu351n.jpg

Isn't it pretty?
eu352r.jpg

anyway, one of the things i loved in that game (where the AI ed up teh borders, my eyes are traumatized) were these crusader states, isn't it pretty?
eu354.jpg

Oh, this deserves a trophy...
eu355.jpg

Anyway, there's the Kingdom of Lotharingia after getting all the cores + cleaning up borders by annexing some vassals
eu356.jpg

And the World maps!
eu3maplot158611121.jpg

Yep, that's Hindustan, Brunei in Korea and Persia with one province in Java

Lol at France in Iberia.

Random question: what's up with the "dat country" line? Just pointing out its bigger than normal?

Typically, when someone says "dat <country", it refers to a usually small nation becoming extraordinarily large; however, it can be used to reference any nation that has grown to unexpected size.

Yeah, well, it's stupid, uninventive, and annoying.
