How is your EU3 Game going?

Unless you really, really need spies, which is generally unlikely (and in the early game you usually don't have enough funds or high enough tech to make full use of spies anyway), the answer is probably no.

For first NI, I usually pick something with more immediate uses, like National Bank or Military Drill.

I've been playing a game as France, riding high on my military might. Then I started annexing small countries, getting my infamy up ridiculously high. I realized this isn't a good move because then everybody gets the Dishonorable Scum (something like that) causus belli. But it was pretty fun having massive armies roll over Burgundy.

Indeed, I started over, didn't annex Saxony and now my infamy is under control. Here's a screen of my current France.

My current mission is to get Bourbon, but it would be a huge stability hit.

Portugal is trying to make a headstart on the Brazilian plans for world domination?

Heh, i don't think they are a pain, usually...
The GH was a nice one, the auto-inheritance of a persian country was also awesome!

Anyway, you should try the Timmies in D&T during 1356 ;) They are small

Spoiler :
Don't they ever consider retiring?

I'm loving this game as Russia, it's my first one in Normal difficulty! :D

I've had 18 native aggressiveness in one of my Australian colonies when playing as the Dutch due to events. :p

If I hadn't sent some troops there to kill the natives and colonize it myself, I'm pretty sure that number would continue to increase. The AI doesn't seem to learn from the events.

So...continuing my Timurids game...

U MAD RUSSIANS?

Also of note are the very successful Ottomans, they are my allies but never needed my help to beat anyone :)

I officially hate how you use the controls. Otherwise, good job. :)

What do you mean? I was trying to play fast enough so it wouldn't be boring but slow enough to showcase what was going on. Is it because of the keyboard shortcuts?

I'm still very new to EU3, I only started playing it last Christmas and this game has a crazy learning curve and a crappy UI. :\

EUIII learning curve goes up, then does a loop, so you invariably fall down and can start all over again.

When I split my forces, I keep all the units selected, pick one target, deselect the force going to that target, then pick another target and repeat. You were doing it sequentially, or sent your force from E Japan to one area before separating out the forces for their individual sieges.

(It was intended to be funny comment, don't read too much into it. :))

Are you going to stay as a horde or form the Mughal Empire?

I plan to remain a horde, unless it becomes an untenable position. At which point I will either invade India with all my forces, or implode impressively.

 I'm a horde, I don't inherit anyone. I conquer by the sword. But the Horde does please me. I almost wish they were at war with, say, Novgorod, so they could work their way north and conquer all of Scandinavia.

Perhaps I will try Death and Taxes at some point. For now, though, regular EU3 is still satisfying.

I was speaking about myself, i like unforced PUs, they are more...natural and historical :p
Speaking of which, lots of PUs around the world on my Timurids->Mughals game
