How is your EU3 Game going?

the most damning thing about that picture's protestantism is the comic sans THE PAIN THE COMIC SANS
Agreed. But that would be a font protestants would use to look "hip".
If we're going along the lines of art, history, culture etc. why not an Orthodox HRE?
Well, i was going for the "i've never played protestant/reformed before, might as well do that now" line. How can i convert to Orthodoxy ? (there is one orthodox province in the HRE btw)
Also, will converting to protestant/reformed make my game easier or harder? My goal is to unite the HRE i guess.

Let it spawn a heretic rebellion, then accept demands.

Comic Sans is objectively the best font.

Like I said, it's really really difficult without forced PUs. I.E. it's hard if you're a merchant republic.

I guess I just have to get good missions, then. Any advice for getting a CB on Thurungia and Franken? Thurungia is still Bohemia's vassal and Franken is allied with Liege, so it shouldn't be too hard. Also at this point I can actually beat Burgundy in a war rather quickly, and they keep getting elected, so I could probably hold onto Franken, Thurungia, and Dresden for 50 years, but I wouldn't really like doing it.

I heard there's some random cores in the HRE event in the early 1500s, how does that work and what's it called?

It's easier to get more imperial authority as protestant (granted that your army is big enough).
It's more difficult to get support for reforms, though.
You should also vassalise at least 4 electors.

Easier to gain Imperial Authority though it sucks to not be Catholic (less colonists, no cardinals, all the missionaries it requires to fully convert, yada yada) and you may get some grief in the early years.

Claims on our rivals? :D

I don't plan on having a colonial empire - i did that in my previous games.
I never had that many cardinals in my previous games anyway.
When i started the game i had like +0.05 missionaries. Now i have -0.15 because of Innovative. But i guess it only makes things more intresting.
Only 1 missionary was created during my game and i can't even use it unless the new religions appear. What's worse is i'm going to loose him in a few years !

Nah I've gotten that before. I got it on Denmark once and Castille twice. My other rivals are Novgorod and Venice, and neither of them border me. Fighting either of the kingdoms is pretty much impossible right now because they're allied to each other, and Castille borders me in southern Iberia and in Morocco.

How can you have so few missionaries? Are you playing Deaf in Texas?
When I started my game (vanilla) I got -.15 a year and also negative papal influence because I started at innovative 2. I had to take Divine Supremacy to actually get any missionaries at all, and later I got Judea. Now I make .65 a year.

CONVERTING INFIDELS IS FUN FUN FUN.

Though becoming an heretic and having to deal with plenty of rebels without missionaries to convert your provinces is incredibly dull

Yeah I'm gonna choose whichever form of Christianity the majority of my population decides to go with. I'll hopefully be Germany by then so that'll either be worse or better, depending on if I've managed to screw up Austria yet.

So this is usually when I stop playing...

Spain had 130k troops to France with 100k, plus France had some troops in Italy so I decided to make it worse by joining the fun. It would be nice if the AI was willing to concede a moderate defeat at this point to myself and Spain rather than waiting for all the sieges to end, bearing in mind that they have one army left.
