Really? Damn, I got so many crises (confession though: I was not exactly the nicest guy to all my people). You know the first thing I thought when I saw your screenshot was "uh oh, Poland is free! Without the neverending crisis that is Wielpolzskie (sp), you're gonna be getting all the crises!"
The one thing I learned with the Ottomans is to go to message settings and change them to pop up and pause if someone breaks an alliance with you. You feel like a boss staring down crises until Russia once again instantly decides to support Greece and you realise Austria has abandoned you because you've got too much infamy from taking chunks out of Egypt again.
Re the communist uprisings - did you stick with the Janissaries party long enough to get Authoritarianism? I feel like it's the Russian problem...too much MIL, not enough CON...all this anger and they won't let you do anything about it cos they don't even know why they're angry. I feel like Authoritarianism is a bit of a flaw in the game, since it so massively affects your game, you can't get rid of it once you've got it, and it all depends on whether you have a reactionary party in power in 1838ish.
