I like that more than a third of people are in the top 10%. Reminds me of when I read that 90% of Americans are above-average drivers, according to themselves.

It is a nice touch that, in this poll, as the level of intelligence claimed goes down, the spelling of 'percentile' similarly deteriorates.

Respondents do not make up either the total of CFC's population or a representative slice of same.

Is implying that OT is smarter than the rest of CFC on average? Well, I guess that would go along with the general poll results that most people are smarter than average...

It would be interesting. But that might also affect how people voted and whether they vote. Would people be more self-effacing in that case? Although I'm sure we'd have a few voters in a public poll who would vote Top 10% solely because, like Perfection, and if he were still active, Fifty.

I agree with PCH, and that's why I designed the poll like this.

Besides, quintiles are just so boring. You see them all the time. I wanted to change things up.
