Only if you already know them. I have no idea what 66 B of the B is and if I was told I am certain that I never heard the phrase before. I don't think I waste time on a test that doesn't even take right answers.

EDIT: I just checked the answers, few people in the world know that there are 66 books of the bible. I bet that few Christians, and even less people from other religions would know that.

I didn't know that at all either. I figured it out, oddly enough. The fact that two other lines are similar help, I think.

I got 19 after spending god knows how long. I honestly don't feel like a genius though. This seems like a pretty arbitrary test.

I just realised that the scale is faulty, it says that 1-5 is average. This only means that 50% of people cannot get 1 answer right. Right?

Hmm intresting 9 off the bat....then i got bored (i.e. had to think) and looked at the answers, Pity I'm an Atheist (theres what, 4 religious ones, Chrisitan that is) and then some fo the things i have Never heard of :p, lack of learning maybe ?

Still linguistics is my weak point.

Excuse me?If you were talking about me then i should punch you in the face.
Well, I wasn't talking about you, but considering your response there are only two possibilities: 1. you actually created this abomination which would make you a moron for making such a ridiculous test and writing 'MENSA' five or so times (You'd also be guilty of advertising outside of your sig) 2. You don't understand the difference between creating something and linking to it, which is just sad.

What a ludicrous intelligence test.

I applaud those who figured out the Bible things (I didn't). Those were the only questions that managed to be challenging without requiring some incredibly esoteric knowledge.

Here's a question I've always wondered: Does MENSA actually contribute to society in any way?

I don't know enough about math to work it out, but I think there's somethine wrong with the logic you're using here.
Yeah, it should be 1/3 I believe. 1/3 average, 1/3 below average, 1/3 above average if all was equal, but it isn't

Anyways, regardless of the validity (the FAQ fully admits no affiliation with Mensa), it is an interesting test. Thank you :)
Yeah, my above post was too harsh, since it's a nice test, just not one on intelligence. ;)

It's no big deal; we all get a little angry at times :)

19 in about 20 minutes.

I prefer the one on the MENSA website though (Mensa Workout).

Your score was 22 out of 30. That is a very good score, you would have a good chance of passing the Mensa test.
:D

I briefly stared at the questions before realizing that it's not math and therefore completely unimportant to me.

It did, however, make me want to bootstomp nerds.

Since it uses non-metric references, I guess people familiar with the metric system are dumb by definition, which, depending on what side you're on, you will find funny or irritating :)
Edit : and if you're not a christian, then too bad for you, too.

So basically to be a genius you have to be American and Christian. Interesting.

I got 9 in 11 minutes, then I lost my self control and checked the answers...
PS. There are 10 questions where I didn't even know the facts were true (IE 66 B in the B, 15 P on a RB, ect ect)
