I don't need this test to tell me I'm a genius. (Though I did get 21.) My class could get 15-20 each by themselves, 9th graders, and trust me, we're not all geniuses.

Mensa tries to cover itself at the bottom of the page by saying that this type of test only measures certain types of geniuses, blah, blah, blah.

This seems to me like one of those things that circulate around the office, usually coupled with "send this 2 10 co-workers or the angel of death will visit u in ur sleep 2nite!1!11!" Especially coming from Mensa, I would expect better....or maybe I wouldn't.

edit: Wonderful! On further review of the FAQ page, we come to find that this test is not actually a "MENSA" test, but a test that had been circulating around for years and was sent to the author by somebody who may or may not have been affiliated with Mensa at some point. Wow, you're cool. Proud of yourself? You should be.

I was SO PROUD of "15 M on a D M C". I have no idea where it came from, but it came to me.

18 so far, after about three minutes.

Edit: After about ten minutes, I have 31/33. I gave up on 13 is U F S and 6 B to an O in C. I knew what the former was but couldn't get the exact wording, and I just didn't know the latter at all, though I did know the other sports ones.

Another Edit: Did everyone else get the date ones first? They were extremely easy.

Well, I got 22 in an hour. This is a poor intelligence test, but fun nonetheless.

Edit: I just checked the answers. I never would have gotten at least 9 of the 11 remaining.

This site just lost all its credibility (as well as everyone else that takes it) because you can find the answers on their site! Just hit "FAQ" at the bottom, then scroll to the last question, "I want the answers" and follow the link. This wasn't even the site I found when googling...

I even found a way to get to 33/33 by answering 1 question and using some javascript...

I got 12 before I looked and I am mad at myself for not getting some of the answers.

Looking at the answers, this test is really stupid. #24? I knew it, but didn't know what to put for 'L' since 'B D' has lost its association with 'L'. #33? #30 - who is supposed to know that except someone closely familar with 'S A'?

If this what it takes to get into Mensa, the club sounds lame.
