I want other news-sources in addition to what I got now, which is Norwegian, the BBC and American news like CNN (and Fox?).

I would be very thankfull for links to webpages for major newspapers and other media from the area where you live. Especially for places outside the afforementioned countries.

English pages would be preferred. ;)

Thanks for the links. Just what I had in mind. :)

luiz: Brazzil.com seems like a site where lots of people post articles they have written themselves. Is that correct?

Yup. Thanks for the links.

Now, do you got a link to a french-course as well? :D

Edit: That was a reply to Babbler.

Edit: Thanks to Damnyankee and Fetus too.

LOL, Riesstiu, that's hilarious.

For Indian perspectives:
www.rediff.com (general news website, pretty good IMO)
www.indiareacts.com (analysis of current events, mostly domestic politics in India)
www.economist.com
yaleglobal.yale.edu (a news site run by Yale University's globalization studies center, whcih I check every day)
www.ft.com (financial times, I like it a lot)
www.nyt.com (new york times, it's nice as well)
http://www.monde-diplomatique.fr/ (if you speak French, Le Monde Diplomatique, I read it once in France and liked it and found it interesting and am trying to read it as much as I can now).

Hope this helps

airrahul: thanks for the link to Le Monde Diplomatique-- I'll be sure to check that out. Incidentally, you can also read it in English at http://mondediplo.com/.
Unfortunately you need a subscription to do so. :(

Hm, not quite. Most articles are written by some newspaper columnists who supposedely have an expertise on Brazil. There are many reply posts, though.

Many of the articles in that site are also translations from brazilian newspaper stories.

Ignore the "headlines", instead look down along the left-hand column where there are several dozen links to media web outlets.

I tried that site many years back, and I have to say I wasn't impressed then, or now - I agree with Cheetah. Any other suggestions luiz?
