Eminem has always done this. He takes a current event and turns it into a rap that creates controversy.

"Girl, forget remorse, I'ma hit you broads with Chris' paws like you pissed him off"

That one flew under the radar - which is in reference to Chris Brown. Ironic thing is, Rhianna was on the album.

Oh, and I like Eminem.

slim using current events in his raps is nothing new, see: "the real slim shady" and "without me". (i would link stuff but dumb cfc rules)
