Done. IU 101 Julius Caesar map is ready. Will be posted in friday (...right?). Its Islands map. Is it ok?

I never played Islands either. With little time I have ATM I hope I'll finish IU 100 until then. Check and re-check everything so you don't repeat my mistakes.

Islands is a funky map script. Everyone starts on their own 'island' (more like a decent chunk of landmass cut off from other landmasses). It is possible to find everyone is isolated or at least two three civs could be all by themselves till Optics.

I don't mind isolation myself and lament the demise of Lonely Hearts Club. But isolation is not exactly everyone's cup of tea. Something to keep in mind Robert.

Oops, good point Smilingrogue, I haven't thought about that. I should've mentioned, Robert, from what I've read there's a practice to consult about map type, to ask what people want. I don't mind trying isolation though, if it happens to be one.

I chose "many small islands" option. No one is isolated . The map was food poor, so I added food. I could test the balance with AI Autoplay MOD. However, I couldn't make it work. Can you guys give me instructions on how to get the MOD and how to use it step by step? Sorry for being unprofessional noob- again. P.S. I've never played islands map script either.

Hmm could be interesting actually. Romans start with Fishing and ORG+IMP synergises very well with settling small islands.

Hellow! Sorry I was offline for a while, had to change my provider. I hope everything is still going as planned. No preference for next map type, I'm OK with Great plains as suggested.

Just checked NC's proposed round and if our lists stay as they are, it'd look like this:

NC Pacal
IU Peter
NC Qin
IU Churchill
NC Pericles
IU Hatty
NC Izzy
IU Darius
NC Churchill
IU Linc
NC Stalin
IU Giggles
NC Darius
IU Nappy

Where repeating leaders are 4 weeks away from each other, which is OK by me (Churchill, Darius). And the traits are well arranged, so I'm OK if both lists stay as they are. If NC dalamb has some suggestions I'll gladly change the list.

About repeating leaders (Churchill, Darius):

For a different experience, different map types and if possible different AI's would be desirable. So far we know NC Darius will be on Large or Huge map, so our IU Darius will stay on Normal sized map - like in fact IU should be.
NC dalamb, any preference for the two mentioned map types? So we can plan ours to be different.

We have some unusual map type forum games lately, so for the next IU Churchill game I was thinking something simpler. Like...fractal?

Fractal would be great. I'm just getting around to finishing the JC game right now. The map for the Peter game wasn't bad, just a bit on the large side.
