Absolutely, any help is very welcome! Rules are all over the place, I picked up most important ones in mentioned post #84 and some ideas are in ones after that. For me, every map is created differently, for some after I find interesting AI opponents (cause I keep them on random) I regenerate a lot to find the shape I want, then check for resources (we don't have to have all of them, but interesting combo's, maybe to fight with neighbor for the only copper or something). And by either playing or mentally (if you're experienced enough) check for balance, so that Gandhi is not surrounded by Shaka & Monty or that you don't have 3 best techers on 1 continent and 3 warmongers on other, or 2 wonder-spammers on other and stuff like that. You can edit (replace or swap) AI's manually too (in notepad), you just have to be careful to edit it correctly. And for some it all fall into place after first try, cause the game does good job with the balance (in some cases, on some map types).
As for how to make all level saves, it's explained in one of first posts in NC Bullpen; then take Immortal one with no huts & no events (.CivBeyondSwordWBSave), start it via play a scenario, open WB, add techs to barbs and save as regular Immortal save (.CivBeyondSwordSave). You have to create game in bts version with no mods or BUG installed in CustomAssets folder (which the games still reads as no mods).
Then post it; keep the Opening post as it is, for any edits/extra info/... use 2nd post.
You can try to create one, upload somewhere and PM someone link to it (you can't upload games in PM unfortunately) to check it out. Wanna try Linc or Giggles? We had all kind of maps recently (Fractal, Continents, Global Highlands, Big&Small, Islands) and today I'll upload Darius on...dunno yet

so they can be on map type we didn't have recently. The practice is usually to ask here what map type do people want.
