Actually, that wasn't the original usage of the term. Fascism was NOT originally National Socialism, and was NOT created, originally by Hitler. It was coined by a WW1-era Italian politician whose protégé, Benito Mussolini, established the first fascist government in history in Italy more than a decade before Hitler came to power in Germany, several different ideas than Naziism that were quite notable, such a very significant Clericalist element, and an almost complete of Hitler's racial politics which you just stated were the sole defining of Fascism. So, I'm afraid your definition and analysis are somewhat inaccurate.
Fascism kind of rose in France and Mussolini got his ideas from that Italian guy in the "unredeemed" territories promised to the Italians as payment to enter WW1. I forget his name.
Italian fascism lacked the hardcore racism and anti semetism of the National Socialist regime.
At the time it was sold as a 3rd way to solve the problems of Communism and plutocratic capitalism.
Franco would be an example of an inwards focused fascist regime I suppose.
