Alexandrian Empire

attachment.php

In the world they came from, Alexander the Great got his men to continue fightning and was in the middle of conquering India when he and his army was teleported to Virgin Earth. After realizing that none of his conquests exist anymore, he re-founded Delhi, enslaved the native Indians, and set out to re-conquer Macedon, his homeland.

I'm thinking of implementing Stability rules to limit massive space-filling empires.

My basic idea is that everyone starts with a Stability of 10, which goes down for every 100 territories that you own. Once it hits 7, you begin to lose wealth while 5 and below causes rebellions that take away part of your military, infrastructure and territories. Investing either 2 or 5 IC causes your Stability to go up by .01. Would anyone object to this system?

@METY

Alexander was known for his toleration of foreign cultures, not enslaving them. Also, Alexander never conquered India because his soldiers were exhausted after years of fighting, not because of his premature death.

I wouldn't object.

Edit: You could say it was a universe where his men still wanted to fight. :P

Edit: Forget that, making new nation

I only want the modern-day Ukrainian borders, and that is it for westward expansion. You can have basically anywhere else that isn't part of the Ukraine, HJ

My new claims are fine then?

I would think this should be implemented. Should also discourage any creation of superpowers (Perhaps even better, not do what Tani does and foster superpowers. IMO gets quite annoying)

It doesn't "discourage" as much as it slows the momentum of a player which IMO is a good thing.

I agree.

And yes this is just because I'm in Wales and not one of the easy-to-abuse starting places. :p

Hopilite, one more thing: Livonia is a synonym of Latvia, not Lithuania.

It was Red_Spy's idea for the name :p
