EDIT: if Venice committed war crimes against Byzantium, the Republic of Albania (the last province of the Byzantine Republic, changed to reflect this) condemned venetian behavior and they immediately embargoed Venice.
Constantine the 12th: if Venetian war crimes are to be beluived, then Venice is nothing better than nazi germany or the Soviet union. i am disgusted by his attempts to reverse and destroy Byzantine culture in the Balkans! well guess what Venice? you cant. no matter how hard you work to reverse it, there will always be resistance. always. some might even immigrate to Albania.
if Venice does not stop oppressing Byzantine peoples, i will take action somehow.

In my defense, they ARE Byzantines. Plus, the USSR did far worse war crimes, and were never tried for it. In fact, Nazi Germany, Imperial Japan, Viet Cong, PLA, they were all never tried for their war crimes. What makes us special?

Yes, Omega, the holocaust was during WWII. Even though the oppression of the Jews did start before WWII (1936 was when the first laws came out), it wasn't until after the invasion of Poland did they begin rounding up Jews and sending them to concentration camps. They said they did this because no sane German would let this happen if it wasn't for the war-time atmosphere (even though the average German knew little about it).

the smallest minority of Albania the Venetians refused to help Venice fight a war, and they voluntary gave up their citizen rights exchange for Byzantine citizen rights.
some venetian members chose to stay venetian, but they universally condemn the doges cowardly attack. they request that he be removed from power and an Election will determine the new one.
( i nearly forgot that i had 10% venetian people...)
Albania is mobilizing for an attack of their own. 50,000 was not enough so they used the equipment that the rouge army Surrendered to Albania. this combined with a lot of people signing up boosted the effective military size to 200,000. total. 150,000 is active.

the Byzantine Republic of Albania has completely banned tobacco. the smoking industries will immediately shut down. the remaining cigarettes will remain with whoever smokes, but no more will be sold or imported. don't even smuggle it in.
sure we lose money (about 5 billion dollars) but the long term bonus of increased health will more than make up for it. the unemployment issue will be solved, as the people will get free higher education, if applicable, and there are other opportunities for a job.
i also recommend other countries ban tobacco.

and they woudl get the cigarettes.. how? the Albanian airspace, sea border and land borders are all heavily guarded by 125,000 soldiers. ( he 75,000 is still in Italy)
