The Republik Klein-Venedig proposes the creation of some sort of Caribbean Trade Union, to further trade around the Caribbean rim and the surrounding areas. This would bring the nations in the region closer together, and further the cause of peace and prosperity in the region (Possible applicants: New Carthage, Caribbean Sun, USFCNP, USSR, perhaps France due to French Guiana.)

To the Prime Minister of the Federation of Central Europe:
Salutations to our Western neighbours and brothers abroad. In the interest of fostering peace and stability in this catastrophic world, the Republic of Poland wishes to make an overture of goodwill and respect to your sovereign state. We do not foresee the Federation's goals as conflicting with our own, and believe that much can be achieved through the mutual co-operation of our peoples. We therefore propose that our two nations pledge a pact of non-aggression, that this may be the first step in a long and prosperous relationship.

The Duchy of Burgundy would like to remind this so-called Federation of Central Europe of the traditional Ducal lands and their extent thereof. There is still a great amount of Europe remaining without stealing our lands as well.
The Republik Klein-Venedig also extends its greetings to its fellow German-speakers in the Federation of Central Europe. We would like to propose a trade agreement to bring our peoples closer together.

"The Empire of the Caribbean Sun has announced plans to expand mining operations in Cuba. The plan is to increase the gain of Nickel and Cobalt for trade and domestic reasons.
In other news, the Caribbean Sun will be hosting a military exercise off the coast of Puerto Rico and extends an offer to all nations to join in."

The USSR is interested in peace and prosperity, and so, we accept the trade union.
The USSR will send some of its vessels to participate in the military exercise. This includes our sole aircraft carrier, the SRS Texas.

The oil industry begins again as a new source of oil is discovered in the recently-acquired province of Bolivar (one of the few province names left the same as they were in the former Venezuela; Bolivar is considered a national hero still). Profits begin to rise as Klein Venedig takes its place among the oil-producing nations of the world.
In military news, Klein Venedig's navy has begun a project to produce a more efficient and powerful battleship to protect its trade interests. A large amount of money has already been invested into the project, which is expected to near completion before the decade ends.

No more Isolation, the new Executor, Ilduce, had an important trade agreement to announce. Last night, the Executor met with diplomats from Praetoria, where they signed both a free trade agreement and an open borders agreement between the two great nations. This is the first trade agreement Japan has had in 1200 years. Ilduce hopes to start a new golden age between GJ and the rest of the world, and this appears to be the first step. Ilduce is the first executor not to be a Japanese citizen, so it is not surprising that he is the first one to want to end the isolation.
Expanding the nation. Ilduce has not just ended the isolation of Japan, but has announce future ambitions to expand onto mainland Asia. The land disputed between Japan and the collapsing China is the territory's of Hebei, Shanx and Shaanxi, Ilduces place of birth. Ilduce has also announced the welcoming of two new cities, Jakarta, Indonesia (including the Banten region of the country, which is the lands just outside Jakarta) and Singapore, Singapore into the nation. What is still being disputed is what role these new members will play in the future of Great Japan and how easy it will be for the citizens of Indonesia and Singapore to become official Japanese citizens.
Rebellion on the loose. Government officials in Kuril have abbandoned the island chain, as rebels attempted to assassinate the premier. The noble's (In Japanese culture, the Upperclass is called nobles, middle class called Japanese and lower class called commoners), Lords and MPP's of the region have all evacuated as the region has entered a period of civil war, where members of the slave and commoner classes took arms against the government. 7 Japanese, and 84 others will killed in the first conflict of this rebellion. We would like you all to take a minute to commemorate the 7 who gave their lives yesterday. There is no sign as to win the fighting will end. The executor has yet to comment on this issue, but members of the legislation have commented that the government is doing all that it can to take down these rebels.

The Premier hasn't taken notice as to what the commoners wanted, as they couldn't vote in elections, so it wasn't the governments responsibility to represent them. He says that that he will do everything in his path to restore stability to the region, so the Japanese can go back to their normal lives.
The Japanese are scared that another civil war will break out as a result of this rebellion, but the members of government are sure that this is not the case. Lord Higoshima (leader of Kuril) assures people that this revolt will be taken care of shortly, and has been given a fortnight to stabilize the region, or the main force, including tanks, will be forced to deal with it. For now the UMPO (regional soldiers) top priority is to evacuate any loyalists from the region to minimize collateral damage.
