That's a sensible use of python. I know it doesn't say anything nice about me, but one of the reasons I use the old NW system is that when I tried to add a new div to the NW spreadsheet, my game crashed.
Yeah, that's why I asked before for your whole mod to make sure to merge everything properly. (Not only because to satisfy my curiosity - but that too 😅)


Why do you have animals in the builder twice?
First is the wild animal and second is the tamed one after capturing it. They have similar stats but different abilities.
Actually they are from C2C.
 
It's slowly getting closer. Hopefully we'll be able to use it. In an extreme case, the model can be deepened even further to accentuate the effect.

I will want to try to align it with rivers 🙂
So I wonder if flipping it the right direction and place it on tile with river would it cover the river and look like it is part of it.
I don't know if it was understandable :crazyeye:
 
Now I had time for an ingame test. In my version, the model is on a plane, just like the other models. I used an alpha channel to blur the edges and used a plains texture on the edge of the texture so that the model blends in with the surroundings and doesn't have too many visible edges.

For the needs of your "hole" in the ground, I see that I should keep the base circumference and bring the middle part with the river much lower. Do you agree?

I didn't have a chance to test it yet, but it already looks really great. From the look on the screenshot I don't feel a need for an invisible terrain.

I have tested it in game and it has some issues:

As you see, if the model is too small, the blackness remains but if it's too big...

...the neighbouring area gets in the way
So the possible solution (I think) is to increase the desert area around the edge of the hole.

Actually, Hellhole being such a modern thing I'm not sure if I'm gonna use it in my mod.
Do you want to use it in yours? Need help with it?

I think Fall from Heaven could make a good use of this model though :)
 
I wanted to use the model to comfort you about the fact that canyon doesn't need to be placed above void. Pic number one shows me that you need to do exactly what you write. I'll enlarge the edges. Probably just with an alpha channel.

No. Thank you. I have only one resource slot left and I've been thinking for a long time what it should be. Something that would support the game system. Either war, science or economy.

BTW - I added the latest Grand Canyon model to the database.
 
So here's what I'm trying to achieve with Grand Canyon an Victoria Falls:

Could you please expand the area marked with red to always cover the river's corner?
And make the river in the canyon both darker and broader a bit, so it looks like part the same river?



With Victoria Falls I'm trying to do something similar. Although the model doesn't really resemble VF (it's just a falls and not that broad) I can work with it.

Here I tried to resize and move the model around in Nifskope but it is just stuck at this size and position.

Could you please add some water collecting areas (marked with blue) and expand to the south-west corner (red) to cover the original river, please?
