Nope, it's a potato. A potato named Spud, who wears sunglasses, rides motorbikes, and is almost always cheerful. I have another version of this avatar with Spud wearing a sombrero.I thought it was a rock riding a motorbike.
And over at the smiley forum I belong to, there are several whole sets of Spud smileys - Santa Spud, Couch Potato, Spud's Girlfriend (a girl potato), plus some one-shots I made, based on the webmaster's original sets.
