In which we discuss Avatars and custom user titles

I basically had a bunch of different Ghibli charecters as my avatar for quite a long time. But then I changed it.

Currently my Avatar is Akito Sohma a charecter from Fruits Basket. (Manga and Anime, (s)he is quite a different charecter when compared between the Manga and Anime versions though)

Other avatars that I'll probably use in the future. The other is my Family's Coat of Arms and the other is what Finland's flag should haver been.

As for my title, it represents my love for Studio Ghibli movies and the fact that in NESes I always try to create a Tarunist Viking/Finnish state somewhere, usually in medieval settings.

My Avatar is the symbol of the Deceptacons, the 'evil' robots in Transformers. I was big into them when I was younger and I'd just purchased a Generation I Starscream in it's box when I was picking an avatar. I don't like change so it's remained ever since.

Beneath that is the town and country I'm from. It's a bit of a flip so I could fit "Commander of the Armies of the North" under location. Being a proud Northern Lad, you've got to have it somewhere. The 'pride' bit evolves from living in exile of God's Blessed Land that is Wigan

If anybody needs clarification as to my avatar and user title, you are missing the best in life.

As for the custum user title, ask stormrage about it if you really want to know. Think 'Riget'. It's all just for spass.

Mine is a little picture of an obscure individual from an obscure flicker show, chosen on the grounds of various characteristics and work when the picture was younger and even more obscure.

Before this one, which entered in early 2002, it was the Civ2 Crusader (a reference to Lindsay Anderson's If...), and before that it was the default avatars that existed in the nascent days of this place.

The title refers to Druss the Legend, and to his recently deceased creator, David Gemmell.

It's tough to embrace the concept of me with a picture; it would need to be 3D with subtitles. So, I settled for a brain in a jar, which is just funny (and an amusing (though unlikely) prediction of the future).

Staircase wit is a concept better described in french. It refers to the 'zinger' you think of in an argument a couple hours later and wish you'd said.

My avatar is the last picture in a serie strip explaining how to vote. The strip was on a broschure with vote card and instructions given to each citizen in the 2002 elections. I liked the last frame in particular because it was somewhat light-hearted for a serious context as elections (the guy is holding a hot dog in his hand btw). To my disappointment the vote card for the current elections (due in September) don't have any serie strip, only some boring instructions in text.

My avatar is an Aussie Rules player, who recently got a shoulder injury...

(now that I think about it, the last 3 players I've had as my avatar either got injured or had a form slump...)

The title should give away the players name.

The title is in homage to XP-tan's hunger for memory. Though I wont mind if someone has a better latin translation for "Memory Eater" or simmilar. .

Quae memorias edit (She who eats memories), or memorias edens (literally "eating memories", but it can also mean "memory eater".

Its a picture of Hitomi that someone linked to in a different forum, which I liked, I think it cute which is why its in my title.

I haven't seen Esca Flowne in a long time, so I'm not even sure if that's from it, but I'd just like to point out that Ma'aya Sakamoto, the voice actress for Hitomi in Esca Flowne, is the most awesomest voice actress ever.

My avatar changes with my whim. Right now it's Hazuki (or Luna) from Tsukuyomi Moon Phase, a half-vampire cat-ear wearing German-Japanese hybrid. Member title, Nekomimi Mode, is the theme song of the series and translates to "cat ear mode". I will probably change it to "Full, full, full, moon" or "FURUFURUFURUMUN", which is... well, it's what Hazuki says when she crashes into something and loses her orientation. Kinda like a dazed expression.

My avatar is of a famous composer. Every year with th avatar switch, I change my avatar to another composer. So far I have had J.S. Bach, Debussy and now Beethoven.

My title is a delusional in the fact that I wish I was a Genius at work, but it also refers to the fact that these composers were Genuises at work, since they creat works of great beauty and complexity, that modern music rarely achieves.
