I don't have an avatar. Because all the cool people don't. No, I just never got one, as I couldn't find one that fit my posting style here at CFC. And my user title is "Bibliophile", meaning "Book lover" because I, well, love books.

I picked up the miniseries (that introduces the show) on DVD at a movie rental place (i.e., I rented the first 6 episodes on one DVD).

I highly recommend it. If nothing else, you get a 3 hour movie at the same price as a 2 hour movie.

Somehow, though I am used to viewing the forums on my own widescreen laptop with a screen resolution of 1920x1200, but from viewing the forums through the college's computers do look kind of bigger (Their monitors are 1024x768).

I like Monkey Island 1 + 2 the best, but this image of Guybrush from Escape from Monkey Island has much better resolution than those old 16 color days. My custom user title is "Mighty Pirate" because that is what Guybrush is! My Location is "Deep in the Caribbean..." because that is the opening line on the title screen of Monkey Island 1.

Monkey Island 1&2 had all the best gags, Monkey Island 4 was too easy to complete, bit of a dissapointment, but still a great game.

I actually like the old and grainy graphics better. You were still more or less free to imagine how the characters looked like.
