There are parts of the KC metropolitan area that are actually in Kansas.
Right. Johnson (one of the richest counties in the country) and Wyandotte counties are in the KC Metro. Kansas City, KS, where the Kansas Speedway is, is in Wyandotte county.
So there's Kansas City, KS, and Kansas City, MO. Actually, they sit right next to each other. The MO side has a slightly larger population, because of KCMO, but the KS side has more money.

Well, Ansar mentioned his reasons, but usually, when you see a time zone in someone's location it is because they play PBEMs. Many PBEM players put their time zones in locations.
I live here. As I've mentioned before.
Nice City, more pubs per square mile than anywhere in the UK. Used to be in the world but we pulled down all but a third of them, and the pole tax got rid of a few more so now there's only just over 300 in a five mile radius. Can't get a decent pint for love nor money, and a pub crawl actually means walking froms street to street these days, instead of just weaving accross the road!
