Currently residing in Kingston-upon-Thames (again), but Worthing is my home town, you can wiki it. Noteworthy for old people, the third largest iron age fort in the country, smugglers, and a wonky church. The film 'Wish You Were Here' was made around Worthing seafront, and the world air-speed record was broken over the beaches a couple times back around the 40's IIRC. Oscar Wilde wrote 'the Importance of Being Earnest' here and named the protagonist after the town.

"The hook" is a nickname for Charlottesville, the origins of which I don't know (and I don't know that anyone else does, either). I use this one at school.

"Virginia's Technology Corridor" refers to a somewhat ironic sign on a rural road in my home county. I use it when I'm at home.
