I think very few of the people here are disturbed personally, it's the fact that we could have ten year olds peeking at the forums to learn more about Civ that's the trouble. While I could have handled this at ten, I used to stay up till three am watching horror movies, and was a seriously messed up kid in the first place. Your average youngster shouldn't be exposed to anything like this ad.

Pff, I was visiting forums when I was about 12 or so. Technically one has to be 13 to sign up to CFC (although there's nothing to keep them from lying about their ages) but anyone can lurk.
We also use a system called 'COPPA', which allows under-13's to belong, with parental approval.

Use the extention 'adblock plus' and the filterset.
IIR Adblock stops Thunderfall from getting revenue from your viewings of the ads.
