No, it's jumping to conclusions to insist they managed to do so after completely failing to stop the other 3 planes, not to mention the complete lack of any evidence that it actually occurred. Don't you think the people on the ground near where it crashed would have seen and reported military jets in the area? Don't you think the government would have been touting that they weren't as incompetent as they actually were, instead of covering it up for no plausible reason?

They didn't have time to react to the first three, certainly not the first two that hit the WTC. They knew as soon as United 93 changed course where they were headed and it's intention. They had plenty of time to intercept it.

Each of the hijacking pilots turned the plane's transponders off, making it extremely difficult for the airlines to track them.

National Geographic had a good documentary which it ran in 2005. The part about United 93 starts at 1:08:45 in.

Isn't 9/11 already a conspiracy enough in the fact that some radical Islamic terrorists managed to gain pilot licenses from the United States, hijack four planes, and subsequently kill about 3,000 people and wounded around 6.300?

If you want to play semantics, yes it is a 'conspiracy' since it involves more than one person. What is often the joke however, is people's conspiracy THEORIES.

While the theories can be interesting and more exciting than real-life, they don't deserve any credibility unless 1.) their facts are straight 2.) they have some proof and 3.) it's possible it could have happened. They often get one of those right ('could have happened') but are off on the other two things with either misunderstood information (conflicting reports) or simply flat-out lies (twisting people's words, taking stuff out of context and sometimes it is not necessarily due to the conspiracy theorists themselves, but from who they rely on for their information).

The 9/11 attack was indeed a conspiracy. It's not semantics either. It was planned and plotted by al-Qaeda members secretly. Thus, it was a conspiracy.

If bush planed 9/11 as a excuse to run wild with invasions of iraq, why not plant some evidence that it was iraq? I mean if they had some nice clear cut (fake) evidence sadam ordered it, the whole invade iraq thing would have gone alot nicer.
