I was talkin about the East Coast. NC looks awful. There's a reason why southern Virginia is in Virginia.

It was on my own accord I did this, although it didn't take years I did take some of my own time freely to make it. If you think I need to add sea colours to make it look better then say so. What I don't appreciate is comments telling me how plain awful it is.

I agree with you. add some color, fix the states, fix the provinces, then add other borders splitting them up.




To other guy: Thank you for telling me that I live in a wasteland. The Prairies are far from a wasteland.

That's the EU3 map. Those huge provinces are "wasteland" territories (in EU3) that cannot be colonized or traveled through.

Wasteland means they were not colonized in the game's time period.

You two clearly don't play EU3. The reason those are wasteland is that they weren't historically settled by games end (1821). Wasteland is a generic term anyway, as the Komi, the Amazon, and the Sahara are all considered wasteland.

I don't play EU3 but I've seen maps a lot. Still, North Caroginia is bleck.

Basically. and you should play it someday, it is a great game.

My backlog will be keeping me occupied for the next year or so. I don't need a game that can easily entertain me for that much or longer.

I feel I must inform you all that the EU3 provinces are not like this map in either the vanilla version or the D&T version, regarding the east coast of the US. It is clear that the somewhat similar colors of the provinces map define has confused the creator of this map.

I think that is a Vicky 2 map, unless you are looking at my attempt.

If you are talking about the D&T map, the creator of this bordered map and the created of the in game DAO/D&T map are the same person... (CanOmer) who also created the Vic2 and HOI3 colorable maps that have been previously posted as well...

Those provinces are way too big.

It wouldn't hurt to split some of those huge provinces but in general I don't think there is anything wrong with the size

Different IOTs need different amount of provinces and so different sizes.
