IOT Organisational and Discussion Thread

I'd like to restart The Peshawar Lancers, but it starts in 1900, so there's no ice or anything like that (though European and American players still get penalties), while there are no NPCs (which I think killed the last game).

Does anyone else find the Roman Empire situation in IB3 as funny as me?
Well its a game. i.e. for fun.

Its not really a true IB, hence why I added "Rapidfire" to the title.

I'm tempted to join as a fifth Rome in the Pacific somewhere or another, but I really don't have the time for this.
I've really made the rules simple, to make it easy for both players and GM.

As the first Rome, I continue to approve. The more people to bow down to the glorius emperor in Australi Roma, the better.

You know, it's ruining the game for me. It just is annoying that they're all being Roman, without even trying to write histories. I may bow out.
He says with
Roma et Remia: Geminii Imperii
in his signature.

Remember, in this game Roleplay (i.e. Histories) are secondary and even not required, to the actual mechanics. There are plenty of other games where people can build stories and role-play and I want this to be a fun game of simply playing a board-game and trying to make the right strategic decisions (as you would in a chess game, but this time you have a dozen or more opponents. And that includes the method of simply starting out. Make the wrong choice there and it can seriously affect how you actually end up.

But I hear your concerns.

Didn't you make the third Rome?...
