Is it acceptable to pee in the sink?

I got the idea for this post from an advice column. I have to admit I have done this a few times, I prefer it over using a squat, but I've only ever done this at home. Is it just totally uncouth?

Some find it acceptable to be peed in the face...
But yeah I've peed in a sink in many occasions.
I do prefer the toilet tho and sitting down so i can have a fag or post here while I am at it

I remember I did it a few times as a kid, but I don't think it as acceptable now. One reason is that small droplets of pee splashes around.

Is your aim that bad that you can not pee standing up into a squat toilet.

Pee is normally sterile so it is not the end of the world but you should not do it if there is a toilet available.

Why dont you buy a chamber pot.

With me it happens a lot, I only really notice it though when I'm peeing while wearing shorts.

Why not buy some cheap toilet paper. Scrunch up 5 or 6 sheets and drop into the toilet. Aim at the toilet paper and you will get less rebound.

I don't really see how that could be comfortable. My sink is way higher up than my toilet...if I tried to pee in it, i'd make a mess.


Peeing in the shower? yeah, that happens. The sink? seems kinda gross to me.

I am in the same situation as DT for my sink. I find if it is dark enough outside, I will just pee on the lawn. It is much more water efficient that way.

It is better too pee in your compost heap as it will help the grass clipping rot down
