I'll start by quoting the silence heard around the political world during Wednesday night's CNBC Republican presidential debate. Here were Texas Gov. Rick Perry's words in the middle of one of his answers: "I will tell you: It's three agencies of government, when I get there, that are gone: Commerce, Education and the -- what's the third one there? Let's see. ... OK. So Commerce, Education and the -- ... The third agency of government I would -- I would do away with the Education, the ... Commerce and -- let's see -- I can't. The third one, I can't. Sorry. Oops."

Oops? Oops? Did he just say oops on camera?

As the full article says, there is a consistent history of Perry seeming like he has no idea what he is talking about and being just plain awful at debates. I don't think the Republicans are going to want to take a chance nominating him after this.
