There are so many nazis out there for some reason. I don't talk to them unless they start sieg heiling and whatnot. If they do, I tease them about losing the war, to the russians no less.

That was probably the greatest mod of all BF time. I played it constantly. We've probably played games together before and never knew it!

Actually I take this back. Forgotten Hope was the best BF mod ever. Desert Combat was the best one I could get to work on multiplayer.

My DC and DC Final nick was Ali Ibn Rashid (after the arab in 'Eaters of the Dead'). My buddies that I played with all took the last name of "Rashid" and we called ourselves the Rashid brothers, and only played opfor. Feel free to look it up on Bf stats for my career kills.

That's a bit strange, since Rashid isn't his last name. The title "ibn" means son, so he was Ali, son of Rashid.

I know I know, it's not the point.

On the topic of the thread, though, I only consider it okay to TK if 1) they're being a complete jerk and, say, parking the hanomag in the road and your armored column can't get through, or if they're actively spreading their racism or hatred or whatever while on the server. Having a contreversial name does not in itself warrant the TK.

This. If the guy's a jerk, do what you've been doing- great idea BTW, partially killing him, especially if he doesn't see you doing it and is running around the whole game wondering whats going on. Then again if you do show your pixalized face he may get the message. W/E, if he's a jerk, light him up, and otherwise no. I don't care though, if someones name is flamboyantly nazi-riffic, I'd probably pass a few shots his way too, especially if I'm in a bad mood. It's teh internets, do what you want.

Every so often in almost any FPS, you get a nutjob that wants attention like that. The dysfunctional TKers are in a class all by themselves, and best avoided. Only because ppl are trying to have fun, I'd say TKing morons is basically moronic, unless they've TKed you a dozen times. For everyone else, it's just as much fun to shout them down in team chat.

When you play online, in a shooter like Counter-Strike, do you think it's just to almost TK players who act up or have names or say stuff you find ********?

Like yesterday there was this german online with the name "Wehrmachtsoldat88" I constantly shot him to the point he only has 10 hp so he gets wasted instantly and I don't get punished for it.

So now I ask you, if you see a player that annoys you are you more prone to doing "wrong" things, just to smite them?

I've had hapless team mates hop in a jeep I've loaded with explosives with the intention of driving into a tank, and then, despite seeing the TNT, staying in the car when I jumped out as it flew headlong into a Panzer.

I know it appears to be circular logic, but hear me out.

First of all, those countries never developped past their intermediate "socialist" stage.

Secondly, one of the inherent criteria of communism is that it is a system which develops in an industrilised nation, where the capitalists, bourgeoisie and petit-bourgeoisie effectively dig their own graves.

Now, if you look at the nations you've just listed, you'll find a single common issue with all of them: they were never industrialised nations. In fact, they were all agricultural nations, where the power was seized by agricultural workers.
So to say that they were communist is to deny the essential properties of communism. If you want to see what communism is, take a look at, say, the Paris Commune, or somesuch.
